Madness, when the Moza equivalent is about 1/3 the price.
I've been a Fanatec customer for 15 years but may as well switch now :(

that price was expected really, there was talks about this before that it may come with this price
it mean also for real car, also its not a regular steering wheel what fanatec had before
Just to add....I'm sure the majority of people who may buy this wheel, would treat it more of a trophy piece than a daily driver.
You'd got to admit though Rupak that's quite a silly comment:
" I've been a Fanatec customer for 15 years but may as well switch now :( "
have you seen this one ?
For 5K and changes, you'll get ultimate sim setup.
This price was expected. It was also shown as a "real deal wheel" like the M4 wheel if i remember correctly. I am sure you'll see some comparison videos to Moza when it releases.
That Porsche wheel Allan linked is interesting though, and if you look close, appears to be a more budget friendly wheel. Probably not cheap, but there's some mixed messages if you look closely. I am thinking this might be the wheel to go up against the Simagic Neo and Mozas new offerings.
Bentley Wheel, have kind off fast chip inside, it can even show real videos, it's not some sort regular thing what you use to see it.
No I disagree it a perfectly reasonable comment. I started with Fanatec because they offered good quality at a not crazy price eg approx £300 for clubsport pedals v1.
2K Euro is ridiculous when the simialr Moza vision wheel is approx 700 euro.
"Real" racing wheel is irrelevant, I dont know anyone who wants to take their wheel from their Sim Rig and put it in a real 1 million Euro racing car.
Hopefully Corsair will be more sensible than Thomas towards the end.
what you really expect ? its a podium class steering wheel
DD2 is not much cheaper really if you dig into that stuff, unless if you lucky and get it cheaper in Black Friday
What use would it be if it fitted the real car, Bentley finished the GT 3 Production 3 years ago
if you not notice, it have a QR2, you could add that also for your BMW, or moskvich
And today Clubsport v3 pedals are roughly £400 (non inverted)
So I'll respectfully agree to disagree.
upcoming, Assetto Corsa Evo
also they planning add Mod support as well, so its very good news
I saw the Porsche wheel at the Expo today and it's really very nice except the gear shifters in my opinion.
The wheel was a CSL spec with the QR2 lite and the shifters were like the PS GT wheel and other CSL wheels which is a shame... but the general feel and quality of switches and the rim itself were great quality.
I think this will be a very good wheel
Great to hear! I am looking at it and have a spare QR2 so it'd be a perfect reason to use it if it's priced in that CSL range of wheels.
It's true that they finished production 3 years ago. However, if you look in the Youtube videos of the Pikes Peak run they do show the wheel being used.
As we already know there were problems with the display being slow to react when the wheel turned and Fanatec wanted that fixed. I think Moza kind of lit a fire at Fanatec with the introduction of their similar wheel (that has the slow to react display as well). I could see Corsair, after seeing all of Fanatec's prototype library, saying "just sell the wheel in the state it's in." That's probably why we 're seeing it now. That said, I was looking at the BMW M4 GT3 wheel and though I'd love to have that the Bentley wheel, obsolete as it is (no real car to install it in), is much more sim friendly. It has the rev lights and a display that's very useful. The extra $600 would be worth the cost for sim racing, if you have the money. Also remember, that $200 of that cost is for the QR2. One last observation. I had the Bentley in my cart to purchase and the price showed $2180, but was reduced to $1999. I have a feeling that after the initial production is sold out the price will go up. That's what happened with the BMW M4 GT3. It came out at $1399 and it went up in price to $1499 after the initial production sold out.
BMW wheel went up along with every last product on the Fanatec site though? or was that at a different time? I personally don't think the Bentley will go up.
But if you go price the Porsche Real Car Sim wheel that's $10k and there's a Mercedes wheel out as well that by Simlab that's $2500, then this all falls into line. Sort of lol.
Bentley Wheel thing is a real car thing, it's not replica like that guy tell in video
The problem is that there's no Bentley car for it to actually go in. They stopped production of the car a few years ago.
yeah but there is a thing, bmw and bentley they both had/have QR2
QR2 what fanatec self started sell last year for sim racers. they been use this years before that for real race cars
in other words you can use this steering wheel other cars as well if you really want
3 year ago made image from bentley
average sim races probaply would not buy this because for them even 400 eurs are already allot
Well the BMW is only on Race cars that I know of. I think the M4 GT3 comes with it. But the Super GT team uses it on their GT4. Unbranded with tape ;) So whether the Bentley comes in a GT3 or not, it's the same caliber, but with a fancy screen. And capable of the same thing.
Personally. As cool as the screen is. I have a Dash and at least so far, have not been motivated by screens. I prefer to separate them so my info is always in the exact same place, no matter the car or game i am driving.
yeah M4 GT3 i thing it should not even be surprise anymore
and yes, if you not like logo. just take a Tape
GT4 EVO as far i know should come same bmw steering wheel
And about this ?
limited edition custom rim with Clubsport Steering Wheel

👍️
they show in this video that Rim but release date is unknown
The Bentley Wheel is at $3399.95 AUD in Australia, so $2000 euros sounds like a steal in comparison, I'm sure myself and many others will not be buying one.
