Podium F1 DD Lost Signal at Certain Angles
I watched boosted media's DD1 teardown video trying to grasp how the DD1 works. My Podium F1 DD has been out of warranty for a while now. I'm trying to figure why from around 240° to around 355°, my DD1 stops sending signals to my wheel. The FFB still works, but non of the buttons on the wheel work in that range, making it impossible to change gears while turning left. At any other angle, it works fine. It's not a wheel issue as both the Podium PS4 F1 wheel and the McLaren wheel have this issue. My base has never been dropped and has been in the rig for years. PC only. The only thing I can think is that the optic sensor has somehow become misaligned or is dirty. Any ideas?

i think i hear your issue before from someone else. have you try some other firmware?
you to can test also if its sensor self if you think its that, add DD1 shaft the other position
i guess it have change that it may go also dirty , it does have ventilator inside what could bring dust inside
I re-indexed the shaft, and that just moved where the dead spot was at. It's more usable now, but still worries me as this dead spot has grown over the last few months. I also swapped out the shaft with a friend's, to see if upgrading to a QR2 would fix the issue, but no luck.
shaft move would only show if its sensor or not, sounds like its the sensor if position changed
