ClubSport DD+ Force Max Torque question

Hello,
I am new to FFB wheels/bases and I am trying to find out how these things and their settings work. And the first step I want to make clear is this:
I have Fanatec ClubSport DD+ base which has 15Nm max torque output.
If I go to Fanatec Control Panel and set Max Torque Output to max (15Nm), and then set the [FFB] parameter to 50%, does that mean that my Max Torque is now 7,5Nm?
And then if I run Gran Turismo 7 and set "Force Feedback Max Torque" here to 5 (out of 10), does that mean my Max Torque Output in this game is half the previous value, wich now will be 3,75Nm?
Do I get it right?
Thanks.

by default you should use 100% Nm in base and ffb strength settings should be changed inside game settings
That's interesting, why is that?
Sorry for jumping in.
Hi Martin and welcome to the Fanatec community! You're on the right track with how you're thinking about FFB settings. When you set the Max Torque Output to 15Nm in the Fanatec Control Panel and adjust the [FFB] parameter to 50%, that effectively limits the output to 7.5Nm. Then, in Gran Turismo 7, if you set "Force Feedback Max Torque" to 5 (out of 10), that would further reduce the available torque by 50%, giving you a max of 3.75Nm in the game. So yes, you're correct!
Feel free to experiment with different settings to find what feels best for you. Each game and each person’s preference can be a little different, but you're definitely on the right path! Best, your Fanatec team.
at then it gives the most sharpest detailed feeling how car act in track, sometimes this feeling may help users in corners how the tiers are holding in track. but it not may work in every game.
of course it depends how user self feels and want use it
also different recommended settings you can find in here for the GT7
Thank you very much 👍, that's exactly what I needed to make sure of. Now I can continue discovering other particular options.
So the settings from the Control Panel (on the PC?) are saved on the wheel, and applied when connected to PS5?
I was under the impression that if you buy the wheel, you can just connect it to PlayStation, and don't NEED to connect to to PC to fiddle with it?
(I don't even have a PC, only a Mac, and the Control Panel is not available for it...)
You can set all parameters also directly from the wheel (if your wheel has display on it). No need to connect it to PC to do so.
But to update drivers you need to connect your base to PC (afaik).
user can control settings directly at the steering wheel display. and they are stored inside the hardware
but it is easier to-do in control panel for the PC users
