Hello,
I am writing to you regarding a problem I am experiencing with my DD extreme DD steering wheel. I am not getting any force feedback (FFB) in the game Automobilista 2. My steering wheel is completely loose, and despite my attempts, I have not been able to resolve this issue.
Here are some additional details: I have performed several resets and updates, but this has had no effect. I have the latest versions of the necessary plugins. My operating system is Windows 11 64-bit, with a powerful processor and a 4080 graphics card. I would like to point out that this problem only occurs in Automobilista 2. In ACC, IRACING and AC LMU, everything works correctly.

I have exactly the same problem with my DD+. The Base is working like a charm with good FFB in iRacing, ACC, RaceRoom and GT7.. but in ams2 it wasn't easy to get it running... I finally got it using Wheel / Direct Drive Generic / Cusom DD Wheel.. I was so able to Calibrate Wheel and Pedals and assign Buttons.. i tried the ams2 settings in Fanalab from Maurice and also the DD1 and DD2 settings.. but there is no FFB.. perhaps a minimal feedback.. Any idee, how to setup the base in ams 2..
I also tried the CSL CW 2.5 and the yellow PC Comp mode... but was even able to calibrate the Wheel.. the fanatec settings in ams2 seems to be extrem buggy
so, I finally got it working... I completely deactivated devices in Steam Input for ams2... then in ams2 settings choose on Generic Direct Drive without pedals... in Fanalab set SEN to Auto... calibrate the wheel... ams2 then automatically set to 900° (2,5 rounds)... all buttons assigned, throttle and brake to pedals.. now it finally works... with FFB
Great that you got it sorted! Can you also control the menus in the game with the control stick or are you using mouse / keyboard? I really need to understand if anyone has the sticks and buttons working in the menus. Ah I just saw it was a DD Extreme, please answer anyway, if you please - as the issues might be the same.
