CSL Loadcell pedal not recognized
I bought a csl loadcell pedal secondhand, he was using it not too long before selling it to me and it was working perfectly.
Now it isnt recognized neither by my base or my pc.
First time i connected the pedals wrong, but figured out afterwards, thought that was the problem, but after doing it right and checking multiple times it still isnt detected by my base. I tried connecting only the loadcell pedal, but no luck. I never tried to connect it with usb and rj12 at the same time.
I found a usb-b cable, but no signs of life when i plug it in. Ordered a new one, gonna try that tomorrow but honestly i dont think it will make a difference.
I tried my cables, but all of them are fine when connected to my pedals without the loadcell. The only cable i couldnt check was the usb, so thats why i ordered a new one.
I saw some people have the same problem on various forums, but none of them had a working solution.
Feels like i tried everything, hope someone has any idea what could i do, or check if the pedal is even functional.

UPDATE:
I tried another usb-b cable which worked until i tried to connect the gas and the clucth to it. It connected, quickly after it disconnected and now i cant even connect the loadcell alone.
When the loadcell was connected to my pc i checked the firmware which was up to date according to the fanatec control panel. So i really have no idea what is the problem.
It seems like the cables cant handle the pedal, but i got a fanatec usb cable coming, i hope thats gonna work.
But at the same time if i connect it to my base with rj12 cable it isnt recognized which is surely not normal.
Anyone any idea? Please help me if you have any clue about this.
UPDATE2:
Well i got the cable, which wasnt a fanatec usb-b cable, but still doesnt work.
Tomorrow i will get another cable, i hope it will somehow work with that.
how exactly you connected wrong? there is a warning that you should not connect them to the base and to the usb in same time
it may damage them
"I never tried to connect it with usb and rj12 at the same time."
I said that i did not connect it to my pc and the wheel base at the same time. I connected the gas, brake and loadcell pedal to each other the wrong way. I saw others connect it the wrong way for the first time i think this shouldnt damage the loadcell opposed to connecting it with usb and rj12 at the same time.
Thanks for sharing all the details with us Tarjáni! Given the issues you’ve described, it’s possible that there may be a fault in the communication between the pedal and your base. Since the pedal works intermittently and the cables seem fine with other components, the issue could be related to either the pedal's internal connection or the USB connection itself.
Here’s a couple of things you could try:
Reset the pedal: Disconnect it from your PC and base, then reconnect it to see if the system re-recognizes it.
Try a different port or base: If you haven’t already, try plugging the pedal directly into another USB port on your PC or test it on a different Fanatec base to rule out any USB port issues.
Firmware reset: Even though the firmware is up to date, performing a reset through the Fanatec Control Panel might help refresh the connection.
If none of these steps work, we'd recommend reaching out to our support team directly to get a closer look at your setup and determine if the pedal needs any servicing.
