hi, thank a lot Maurice for the last profiles, they work great as always. i just have two issues with the fanalab software.
i have the PME, and i can't get a way to make the ITM auto switch to work. i configured every page with the green logos so if data move the screen page should move to the interresting one, but it won't no matter what game i am playing (ac, acc, lmu, iracing). i had this issue since i the first use of my PME and i thought waiting for the new lab version would fix this problem but it doesn't. it is a common issue or maybe something damaged on my install?
then about the last update, i love the fact we can now use the led on the PME to show if we using the headlights, rain light, indicators etc. i configured just a dot for these in the corners to not interfere with other led configured (for tc for example). but if its activated, the rest of the led don't work anymore. i think this is normal but will there be an option in the future to enable theses led without blocking essential ones (like yellow flags, tc/abs wheel spin/lock...) ? i think it would be great as in this state i don't find any interest using them specially for the headlight and rain light led that are persistent.
Fanalab, which was working fine with iracing, has recently been showing the message in the image and is no longer operable. Is this a problem with my settings?
Your base is probably in a different mode. If you switch between compatibility and PC mode, FanaLab will see it as a different base (e.g CSW 2.5 in Compatibility mode), hence the warning, just uncheck showing the message or swtich the mode back.
I only use the Profiles by Maurice (they are great !). However in AMS2 I'm Missing profiles vor some cars. For ecample the Formula V10 Gen 1 and Gen 2. They are in the carlist of the Fanalab driver. Is there a possibility to add own profiles in the same way like those by Maurice (so that they are loaded automaticlly)?
Hi, in the game profile I have a hypercar profile for LMU, I added all the hypercars in the game to this profile, but with the Peugeots 9X8 the profile does not load automatically (I tried all the Peugeots with different circuits).
However, with the other hypercars the profile loads automatically.
I must be confused with LMU but i definitively can't get anything right with this game.
Everytime I launch it, followed the setup from Maurice in the txt in his profile for in game settings, then take a profil, it doesn't feel good.
I remember playing it in June and finding the FFB and everything good and it was a pleasure, with LMdH, but now with GT3... I can't handle it. It's like the wheel want me to go straight, if I go left or right I feel some kind of latency and force who ask me to go back to the middle, there is nothing I really appreciate in this. I barely do two laps fighting with the wheel and then stop. Maybe I should find what is going on.
I have a Podium DD2 and a BMW GT Wheels, but i Also tried with a F1 Wheel to get the 1-1 Profile, still, not really a good result... I suspect more the game than the profile tbh but this isn't comfortable for me...
I believe I have found a bug with the combination of the CS DD+, Podium Button Module Endurance and Fanalab and possibly Iracing is a fault here as well.
How to reproduce:
Turn on wheel base with PMBE wheel attached, Launch Fanalab, Launch any session in Iracing and once you load into session, none of the buttons on the PBME will work and the OLED display will be frozen and you can't access the tuning menu. If you detach the steering wheel and reattach it you will be met with the "Steering wheel not found error" flashing on the PBME, the only way to fix this once you get to this point is to restart the wheel base, detaching and reattaching the wheel only gives the same error.
The only workaround I have found so far is to start Fanalab after loading into session.
I have reinstalled Fanatec Drivers and Fanalab and the same error presents it self. My other 2 wheels do not have this issue.
I have the same problem. Always thought it was just me.
I usually restart the base. It might be also something with certain profiles since I don’t get that problem always but with certain cars (for example the BMW GT3).
I had weird behaviour yesterday with my M4 GT3 Wheel, the OLED screen just stop working for no reason, I had to plug in again..
Not sure if it's USB relative, base relative, wheel relative, or software relative - i also had issue with my gear pedals like sometime the game doesn't accept my input, and ffb feel wrong. Unplug/Plug it back worked but... First time i had that, so i'll check if it could be relative to fanalab or not...
I just got a clubsport DD (12nm) to play mostly iracing, and i managed to find the mighty Maurice's profiles for fanalab. When I unzip th file i see two folders labeled "CS DD+" and "P DD2". Can I use CS DD+ profiles for my Clubsport DD? Should I make any adjustments to convert them for DD?
Sorry for the noob question i could not find anything clarifying this.
I just did some research regarding the error logs I shared above and it does not appear that Fanatec has addressed. Please correct me if I am wrong, which I hope I am. I cant load or use any profiles within Fanalabs right now and that is only if I am lucky enough for it to stay running.
Maybe the fault is on your side, since fanalab mostly runs well for the majority of people... Problems with drivers we all know they exist, but fanalab been running pretty well, and most of the errors are corrected within reasonable fast.
I have never had an issue in 5 years until now but of course it could be the latest Windows update or anything in between so does that mean they should just ignore it?
Seems someone smarter than I should be able to diagnose what the cause is. Google it and you will see dozens of posts on a variety of platforms, granted some are quite old, which is odd, but still seems like there must be a solution out there...
Did you reinstalled the driver after the mentioned windows update? It is widely known that big Windows Updates break USB device drivers so they need to get reinstalled
Can see your iracing profiles aren't linked correctly, so I would be checking files and file sizes that match closely to what is shown in picture below:
The following folders in you Fanalab directories, shown at top of picture in Blue.
The profiles highlighted in red on the left are some of the 100 that should be in there for Iracing (Looks like they are there in your picture).
The Carlist files on the right in red are the linking files required for iracing to have the necessary linking and loading of a profile for each car / cars, so I suspect those two files are incorrect or missing.
This below pic shows it should look after its setup correctly, your Fanalab pic doesn't have the car icon shown circled in red and not every car Profile is linked to a specific car as shown below.
(If you click on the little car Icon circled in Red, it will show you which car is linked to the highlighted/selected Profile) as shown on my setup.
Yes, you can. Create your profile, click the car icon, then bind/select the car from the list provided. Maurice has mentioned he only creates profiles for the cars he drives and not for others.

I believe you will need the latest Fanalab 2.01.58 as a lot has changed with protocol used, LED functions.

iracing で正常に作動していたfanalabが先日よりで画像の様なメッセージが表示され操作も出来なくなりました。 これは私の設定の問題でしょうか?

Do you have any idea what the problem is?
Guys i have configured the software following the instructions on the maurice txt files but when play don't change automatically the car.
Where do I download the beta? I have V2.01.54.. The check for updates says I am current but nope.
In the opening post on the 1st page maybe.
Hi @Maurice Böschen
Will you create profiles for Assetto Corsa Evo and game config?
Thanks for your great job mate
I must have scanned by that 11 times.. Saw it immediately after I posted the question. Tkanks

Is there any updates as to what is causing Fanalabs to randomly crash and or not operate correctly?
Had my DD1 for 4 years at least now no issues, and now all of sudden last few months Fanalabs wont operate.
Without any Logs for the crashes no, there wont be an update as it cant be investigated.
Thanks I'll provide next time occurs
Even if I am lucky enough to have Fanalabs stay open, it will not load any profiles and only displays low tq mode...

I don't understand how Fanatec has gone backwards regarding their software. What a mess this is now :(
???
