Podium Paddlemodule for old Formula Black Steeringwheel

It's noted that the advanced Paddlemodule is not compatible with the Formula black.
But so is the Xbox universal hub and it's still possible.
My question is: Is it completely impossible to attach the advanced paddle module to the Formula black steering wheel or is it possible simoular to the xbox hub?

Unfortunatley it is not possible to upgrade the older Formula wheels with the APM, because they are simply missing the required 6 pin connection.
This is what a Formula V2 looks like with the APM attached:
Nevertheless there are third party options in the market :)
Alright, thank you for the information ;(
with simracingmachines carbon paddles, the old formula is excellent.😎
I've ended up with the Ascher ones, as thankfully recommended from Sascha. The simracingmachines was also in my mind, but Ascher is produced in germany and a little bit higher quality, very happy with them :) But thank you for your recommendation @Aurelien Bichet :)
This can not be true! literally a few days later they come up with own simple magnetic shifter... and they are looking like they have the perfect distance.... I'm crying......... :( :( :(
For the new Fanatec shifters it’s stil a question if they will work on the older Formula wheels.
If this uses the same hall sensor switches as the podium Paddle module a big chance it maybe only work on the newer Formula V2 based wheels, on the connector that is also used for the Podium Paddle module.
If they use normal switches you still need to wait till somewhere Q3 to get them.
If they feel the same I would prefer the Fanatec’s over the Ascher paddle shifters. Have them both but the Fanatec feel nicer and are much quieter because of the rubber endstops.
A few people in YouTube commentsections already said it's only for the v2's because they use the bigger pins, but I don't know where they got this information from.
Agree with the Ascher vs podium paddle, but the Ascher paddles are still very good, just in a different way.
If it uses the bigger pins I would say it’s the old connectors. The new connectors are smaller pins but 6 instead of 2 pins.
For sure the Ascher are still very good use them on my Universal hub and work great. Only thing is they are a bit loud.
With bigger I meant the pin number, so most likely they just fit with the V2's, they really want us to buy those xD
Some previous insider from fanatec said they even are a bit stronger than the podium shifter and have a little bit longer travel. But the short travel is actually what I like the most with the podium shifter.
If they fit with the old ones I would give it a try, otherwise I will stay with the Ascher ones.
Ah ok yeah then only the newer models.
Let’s hope one of the reviewers opens the bottom of the wheel to verify which connector is used.
Yeah definitely gonna happen, let's wait and see, Q3 is targeted for release :)
Are there any new informations about the Clubsport magnetic shifter compatibility with the older F1's?
Most people guess it's only for the V2's, but I didn't see any statement or somebody opening it until now.
There appears to be no reason for the new MPM to use the 6 pin other that it is left over from the APM set!! Surely it would be a simple enough job to remove the 6 pin and replace it with the 2 pin!!??
Yup, or the solution with these adapter cables, it works very well:
