There is no specific time set by Codemasters for the games release.

Will Fanalab update to allow for F1 2020 profile be released to coincide. Otherwise it would be very disappointing not to be able to use all of the available features, especially the customisation of flag and rev LEDs.
Yeah, hopefully we'll get codes tomorrow, bit nagging that I can't already preload from Xbox store, like ppl you have bought this from there. Of course some ppl with physical copy already have this. On the other hand we paid 1€ from this so...
On Steam the game is already playable so I expect it by Midnight

Its 9:30am in Australia where is f1 key.i can go to store and buy game now.have taken day off work for this release .this was a major part of f1 rim deal.come on Fanatec get it together
have found game key in my games,no notification but happy now.cheers downloading now
Yes,same here I received the key at midnight UK time and left it to download overnight,all ready and installed now 😁

Found it. In Steam you can activate the game with the game key. In Games-tab: activate product on steam...
