I just recently updated everything to driver 380 and newest firmware with fanalab 1.52. Everything seems to be working good except that on my formula V2 wheel the mph is off to what my car shows in Iracing. Everything was perfect before on the wheel before I installed the new fanalab. The wheel will show that I’m doing 110 mph when the car is actually doing around 180 mph.
1000000% thats it because this was tested extensively before going public and it works fine, both kph and mph match with in game. Definetely the speed is set to Metric in iRacing and mph in FanaLab so of course they dont match each other... ^^
Wanted to double check before I replied. Without a doubt Iracing is set to MPH. I'm currently racing in the IMSA series in the Corvette C8R on Le Mans this weeks. The in car display is in MPH and on the straight away in Le Mans I'm hitting a little over 180 MPH. I triple checked again and Iracing is set to MPH. I went into the Fanalab setting and its set to MPH also. So I changed the Fanalab setting to KPH and guess what? The wheel speed now matches my in car display. So then I changed Iracing to KPH and guess what? They don't match up. They are off again. So then the only way to get the correct speed on the wheel is to set fanalab to KPH and Iracing to MPH.
When checking iRacing please do not look for speed in the car dash but look for the speed shown in the HUD element. Car Dash is sometimes in kmh or MPH and dies not change when you change the in game speed option, only the HUD element changes.
I checked this with 5 cars yesterday and it's matching 100% so it's not a Fanalab issue but something is wrong on your end.
Double checked the specific car/track again and I reached 174 mph on the long straight and on the Formula v2 and DD ITM the speed was correctly shown as 173 (there is a known rounding issue so it always shows 1mph/kph off because it doesnt round up properly).
So its working fine.
Sounds more like an issue on your end, as said.
You could try reinstalling FanaLab with the reset checkbox checked...
I have another issue to report. I only have V3 pedals attached. With FanaLab 1.47b everything works fine, but with FanaLab 1.52 there are no vibrations in any game. I did fresh installs, deleting both the mentioned appdata folder and registry entries, and one worked, while the other doesn't.
I enabled all effects, and in Assetto Corsa tried sliding, wheelspin, locking, abs, to trigger any vibrations, nothing.
I looked at the "view telemetry feed", and it's updating correctly in both versions. The only difference seems to be that in 1.52 there are no vibrations.
Please try the workaround listed in the known issues of the first post and also please provide the log files like described which would help us solve the issue for the future.
Pedal vibration on the Clubsport V3's are not working for me anymore either. The pedals show up in Fanalab, but in the vibration tab its showing as :Not Available.

Sorry I missed Tim's request..
Great!
No worry.
Shows that this feature (or better finetune to the actual flash pattern feature) is highly requested. :)
yeah and it's really cool when racing at night in a dark room... 😎
fanalab is really shaping up nicely..
Ok, thanks for the clarification! 😁
Sorry again.. but the vibration pedal (CSP v3 via usb) on fanalab is on.. but it doesn't work. -tried with Assetto Corsa.

Are you sure the game isn't showing kph? Because 180kph = 112mph
I believe vibration only works when it's hooked up to the base, but I stand corrected.

FanaLab crashes instantly whenever I try to start it.
Started happening after a Windows update, and using older versions of FanaLab still has the same issue.
I have V3 pedals, driver 380, firmware 1.30
Please try the workaround you can find in the first post to fix that issue.

Thank you, that did the trick!
I actually did that once, then reinstalled, but the folder reappeared and the issue persisted. But now I deleted again and the folder is gone.
I thought I'd mention this in case someone else has the same issue.
Ok. I will fiddle with it some more and see what I can do. Thanks for your time Maurice!!

Try with clubsport preset.

Thanks, we'll take a closer look and solve the issue when found.
@Marcel Pfister
there is no clubsport preset in rf2 game controler menu inside rfactor 2 game
Only Fanatec CL PS4 preset inside game
is that you mean ?
That's what I meant:

Known issue and should be fixed with the next release :)
Hello,
I have csw v2.0 and clubsport pedals v2 plugged into the base. Why can't i have the pedal brake menu in fanalab?
hi, does fanalab 1.52 work with 373 drivers?
Yes
I'm not sure if v1 or v2 pedals works with FanaLab. Definitely works with v3 pedals.
I have a set of V3's - but on the main page of Fanalab it's showing as CSLs with a LC. Anyone else having that issue?
