If you are for sure using the exact same Tuning Menu settings as before because after a firmware update the Tuning Menu resets all values back to stock (including FF down to 35 which is very low for safety reasons). You need to set the values back to what you used before and then compare if its REALLY weaker,
Hi. a question. until what temperature do the fan start to accelerate on a DD1 ps4 ??. It is always at 690rpm with temperatures of 37 motor 42 the driver.
Thats fine. Next escalation step in the fan curve is around 45°C Motor Temp where the Fan then accellerate to around 1000 RPM. Never saw any higher RPM on my DD2 because I never got above 50°C Motor Temp, not even during hot summer days.
But I know the fan can speed up to 4000 RPM but it will take a LOT of heat and brutal FFB forces to get to a temperature where the fan would speed up to this speed. Probably nobody will ever get to that speed.
I wrote Marcel in PM, but just to know if someone here had the same issue: Installed the newest v381 RC Driver (coming from 373, before installing I uninstalled Fanalab + Driver and did a reboot), when starting the property page and clicking on the DD2, it says that there are new FW to install. I clicked yes but nothing is happening.
What I tried: Uninstalling everything again (USBDeview incl.), switched USB Ports ( Both 3.0 and 2.0), tried without and with RIM. Tried the v380 RC Driver, same Problem.
Hi Armin, thx for your reply, sorry for my english hope understand me
Is it 100% identical on the right side and on the left side?
Yes, i switch the encoders in game options and the issues persist
Which base and wheel are you using?
CSL Elite Wheel Base+- and Wheel F1 V2
Please double-confirm base and wheel FW.
Base 680 and Wheel 38
Do you see that only in a game or also in the driver?
In game (F1 2020)
Was the behaviour better with any other previous FW (combination)? If yes, please let us know which one it was.
With the actually 381 works great feels smoothly more precise and better lap times, the only problem is the thumb encoders, the encoders works perfect with the wheel base FW 641 or 674 as is in picture but feels like i lost the smoothly and precision, thanks again.
cannot click on yes because there is nothing happening, it just closes everything and does not open up the flash tool.... I can see in USBDeview that the DD2 is in Bootloader Mode, so this is fine, but no flashtool opening. Same thing when I click "No" and try to flash going into the last menu and click on Update FW. It doesn't matter which FW I try to update first, it is always the same thing.
Definitely way better than before 😱 I am stunned. Before, I always have feeling that I need to start turning into corner earlier, now is prompt reaction, much more responsive, precise and with better ff
Currently havepc driver 381 installed... when i open up the wheel properties it ask to update motor firmware... current is 38 and its wanting to go to v40... it freezes when doing the update.. same with me wheel firmware. current is 34 and its wanting to go to 38... any help would be great. thanks
I updated to 381 from 380 in the vague hope it might fix my encoders in ACC that were working fine in 356 (if slow). Unfortunately with the MPS on "constant" it still seems to miss certain encoders signals. If I turn the knob multiple clicks then it happens that the final value is sometimes not registered. This is all DD1 and PBME on PC. So it seems that with this "release candidate" the encoder wheels are not yet working properly.
This was tested internally heavily and could not be reproduced by anyone. Seems more likely that it's an issue with your hardware but not a widespread general driver/firmware issue.
On constant it simply cant miss a turn because the position of the MPS knob is constantly send to the game. Might also be a game issue or wrong mapping issue in game.
How exactly do you use the knob and to which in game functiond did you mapped it?
No chance with this, but this morning I had an idea and it worked! Since I could see the device in Bootloader Mode, I just went into C:\Program Files\Fanatec\Fanatec Wheel\fw and started the FW Updated manually. Then clicked on Flash and everything went fine. Why I had to do this I don't know but I think it was good to report it, in order to get rid of this problem in the next version.
Tested it during the weekend (raced a few hours, F1 2020, ACC and some iRacing), didn't notice much difference to the "old" 380 driver / firmware on the CSW V2.5 / Formula V2, i would say release it ;)
Hello everyone In bought a CSL Elite F1 steering Wheel and an Loadcell Brake on the PS4 and I can't get the Pedals to work. I also don't know how do Download the Firmware and what Firmware I need. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
The knobs are mapped to TC and ABS in Assetto Corsa Competitione. Should I just contact support with a video or something? I find hardware a bit odd because as I said this worked i think with 356 (with 0.5 sec delay). Should I just contact support with a video of me turning the encoder? Maybe can you guys talk to the ACC people, I think there are some people in their forums as well with this type of issue and since Fanatec is heavily marketed in ACC in game billboards...

which settings should I check

Das ist gerade in FL FFB35. Wie erhalte ich die Werte, wenn ich ein Profil lade?
If you set a profile as default in Fanalab it will autoload the FFB settings from this profile when you start the game. (please post in english)
Ok

Would be really important to answer all of those questions to help us investigating if there is even more room for improvements. THX!

Perfect then. I stay calmer. Thank you very much for your attention and the prompt response Maurice !!

Did you also click on "Flash Firmware" after clicking on yes? "^_^

could you please try the repair function of the driver and see if it gets fixed that way?

how about my issues?
Dont know, updates are working fine for everyone else so there might be an issue with your hardware as well...
But I am not Developer so maybe Marcel can have a look at it
strange... ill backdate and try again

Julian... the driver is literally on the first page of this discussion...
please connect your wheelbase and pedals to a pc, download the driver, restart you pc and flash all included firmwares.
I tried it, it doesn't work.
what doesn't work? please be more specific.
The whole Pedale System I can't accelerate and I can't brake
