I have the CSL Elite V1.1. Was thinking about installing Fanalab, but was wondering about this from the intro page:
The CSL Wheel Base, CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 and the ClubSport Wheel Base V2 are compatible as well but with limited functionality as the Tuning menu cannot be synced. We are working on improving the compatibility of at least the CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 as this can be fixed by firmware.
Can someone please give me a hint what I'm doing wrong (I guess so...)?
At Fanalab, I'm not able to load and save any Vibration settings to my profiles. The checkbox is just grayed out. This is inependent from which game I've loaded, even if I just connect my base and open Fanalab without anything else, it's the case. When I load one of the profiles offered here, it's fine for the moment, however after the tiniest change it couldn't be saved including the Vibration settings.
It must be a well hidden setting or checkbox, that's responsible, I guess...
Should be but that's an actual Limitation (or bug, however you wanna call it). Without a Wheel with vibration motors you can not save the pedal vibrations to the profile at this.moment.
Ok, not my fault in the end (which is good and bad as well...)
What would happen, if I save my vibration settings with the CS F1 wheel and then attach the GT3 R wheel? Will the pedal settings stay applied? Even after shutting down and restarting my system?
followed the instructions in Fanalab for the telemetry in RaceRoom
But no matter how times i pressed the assigned keys I never got it to show off and none in the game menu.
Also the ITM display is only available on the base? I want to have the fanatec logo on the base amd the ITM on the wheel (to avoid the freezes which so far I had none 😇 and want to keep ot this way 😁)
Since I made the upgrade to 381, my clutch shows 50% engagement and so does the handbrake which I do not have. I have disconnected the clutch input on the pedal set and the engagement still shows which indicates to me that there is a software problem. I can map the Advance Paddle module to a clutch to the right hand paddle and this works correctly, but if I try to set the clutch bite point on the wheel, the clutch does not gradually reduce with the funky switch and directly engages when the dial reaches zero. Pleas help me to solve this issue..
Just updated to the new version of Fanalab and it is not detecting any of my devises. I tried searching through the comments but haven't found anything relating to this problem.
Another problem I got with Fanalab is with F1 2019. If Fanalab is open or in systray, when I close the game it closes with a crash. If I close Fanalab, it closes normally. Anyone playing F1 2019 has this problem?
Since I bought another PC with a RX 5700XT, Fanalab stoppped working right.

Is this still the case?
yes and it probably wont change. The Tuning Menu is still not useable within FanaLab (and the driver) with a CSL v1.1

My setup:
DD1 PS4 on driver 681, V3i pedals, Fanalab V1.53
I changed to version 1.47 but the crash still here. I noted that DXDIAG has record of the crashes so it might have something to do with DirectX 12
Which steering wheel you use? That checkbox is greyed out when you use a Wheel which Doesnt have vibration motors.
GT3 R with PBME, so no vibration motors.
I thought, this setting would be valid for the pedals as well.....

Yes as they are saved to the profile.
A workaround is to save the profile with Formula v2, then open the pws file with an Editor, change Rim from 10 to 12 and change BME False to True.
That way the profile is saved with BME and vibrations remain saved and can also be loaded properly.
Perfect, thanks Maurice!
And your profiles are great, your latest hints in the other thread just made it happen ;) Appreciate your work!
Hi Maurice, any suggestions for those of us who couldn't even start fanalab? Anything at all that we can try?
Thank you!
Yes, the workaround from the first post. If thats not working, collect the logs and send them to Marcel.
Thanks. But I could not run it at all, how do I go to 'settings' to collect the logs?
Has anyone a profile for RACEROOM ?
any update for iracing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO? thank!!
Wrong thread Maurice posted them in the share your profiles thread at this link

I can't help you with the ingame settings of R3E, but to have the ITM on the wheel you need to rotate the funky switch while pressing the TM
Should be here C:\Users\Public\FanaLab Logs

Thanks man. Keep forgetting that the funky switch rotates. 🤣
Must be the age catching up. 😇
I think some people solved the handbrake issue by using different USB ports. Best if you reset the USB ports.
any others ideas Maurice?

It's plug-and-pray :-)
