Good morning, I wanted information, I have a csw 2.5 base, at the moment with mclaren crown, I wanted to know if on the 381 drivers the porsche crown with endurance module has become completely compatible or not?

Yes the BME is compatible to your wheelbase since driver 373.
Hello,
I thank you for the answer, since I don't have the steering wheel, and nothing can be found online, is it completely compatible or are there any limitations in use?
afaik there are no limitations with the latest driver 381.
Thanks, now I'll seriously think about it, I currently have a CSL MCLAREN
regarding this topic, I would like to ask if the steering wheel is too heavy for the csw 2.5? I have read in other sites like Reddit (very old post by the way) that the csw 2.5 could suffer from this wheel (and also the BMW gt2) because the weight and the FBB will not be good because of that.
Any with this wheelbase and steering wheel who could tell about?
Interesting topic, we hope someone will answer, the weight from the fanatec site is more or less the same, but I think it would also understand the drivers with which they are used, if you yourself say that the post is old on reddit
Just from my own experience, with a CSL Elite+ and BMW GT2 wheel compared to the much lighter 918 RSR wheel:
Short answer: Will the weight affect FFB? Yes. Does it matter? No!
As written above, I've used both the heavy BMW GT2 wheel and the lightweight 918 RSR wheel on my CLS Elite as well as a F1 Esports wheel. There is truly a difference noticeable, when you do a hot swap back and fourth between both wheels (ignore the Esports wheel, as it has a differnet diameter....). The higher weight of the GT2 wheel acts like a damper to FFB, but by far not as dramatic as this statement seems to be. It is noticeable straight after the change of wheels, only. But not when driving the heavier wheel for a while, so from my point of view there is no loss of important feedback.
The CSW might be different (same motor, but different gear ratio), but I doubt it will be significant.
However, what you should consider (and what is significant imho) is the fact, that the GT3R wheel with PBME has an increased depth of 45 mm compared to all other wheels. Means, this wheel will be closer to you or you'll have to adjust your seat accordingly....
Taken, already arrived and mounted on my station, a completely different sensation than the mclaren, in my opinion I think the feeling is superior. The only thing I can't get the ITM to work, with fanalab version 1.53. I have not found the problem of weight and FFB reduction.
The two most common failures:
thanks a lot!
