CSL Elite Wheel Base Lag issue

My wheel seems to misalign after turning. This was hard to pinpoint seeing as I use a VR and that gives me no reference point but what gave it away was when I turned the wheel back to center the in game wheel is misaligned but then catches up and aligns properly after a second or two without input from the Fanatec wheel. I notice this most in iracing but haven't really raced much else lately. If you have any ideas I would be grateful I'm fairly new to these sims and the Fanatec hardware in general so unsurprisingly I'm at a loss.

I would check to see if the steering angle matches both in game and in wheel.
Its set to auto I tried resetting everything but still no luck
How did you set up your wheel setting in iRacing? I like to go pretty low like 530 for RSR in iRacing, and I would get a mismatch on the wheel if I set it to Auto. I would have to set 530 on the wheel base as well. Not sure if that's your case.
btw, what driver are you on?
I changed the degree in both the Fanatec software and the game but no luck still does the same thing. I also tried un matching both degrees and it acts completely different.
Are you on the newest v381 driver? Graphics driver updated? Tried different USB ports?
Not really sure what else would cause a lag like that.
Maybe try contacting support?
