ClubSport Formula Carbon: Buttons not Mappable

I'm currently trying to remap the default Formula Carbon scheme in F1 2020 and certain buttons do not seem to be mappable. Specifically, when in the F1 Control & Calibration Schemes window, neither button 11 or the joystick to its left accept any input. All other buttons can me mapped. I did make sure that no action was previously mapped to the button I was trying to map but it did not have any effect. The menu stays with the message "Waiting for input" until it times out. My F1 copy is up-to-date as well as the Fanatec driver (381) and firmware (WB 680, WB motor 22). Would appreciate some feedback as to whether I'm missing something or simply that button and joystick cannot be mapped in the F1 2020 game.

Try turning on the mouse emulation from within the wheel property page, then see if it'll map.
I personally haven't found any use for the joystick.
What platform are you on?
Yeah I have the mouse emulation on but that doesn’t affect the F1 game at any level. Joystick is not a big deal, was merely trying to have the look left/right mapping separate from MFD navigation.
Apologies for missing that in the original post. I’m using a PC. From what I’ve read on older posts, PS4 is the platform that is more limited in the number of mappable buttons. The Formula Carbon shares the same manual as CSL Elite and the only button that had a “game dependent” note in the manual (about behavior/being mappable I guess) was the joystick. Hoping I can at least figure out how to fix mapping of button11 (labeled “radio” in the pic).
Strange, I have the same problem with the formula v2 with the button at the exact same position as your „Radio“ button. Have you found a solution already?
Unfortunately, no solution yet. Based on Fanatec's manual it seems only the left joystick was "game dependent" so hoping some folks in here can comment whether the button is mappable or not.
