McLaren V2 missing shifts?

I'm trying to use the McLaren GT3 V2 with the CSL PS4 1.1 in iRacing. There seem to be a problem with the wheel sometimes missing up- and downshifts, about every 10-20 minutes. The P1 wheel I have works perfectly.
I heard about problems with V1 of the wheel but thought they had been sorted in V2.
Anyone having similar issues?

Did you update to the newest v400 driver?
I am puzzled.
What base you have. CSL Elite V1.1 or CSL Elite + PS4?
No, I haven't. I'll try it.
CSL Elite + PS4 (I think that is the same hardware as the 1.1 version)
The upgraded firmware didn't fix the shifts. I am wondering whether it is a mechanical issue as occasionally iRacing will respond like one of the rotary dials on the wheel has been turned on its own.
Probably a defective wheel.
The PS4 and 1.1 are different, fyi
They are the same, apart from PS4 compatibility (Playstation security chip).

V1.1 doesnt have a tuning menu in the software from fanatec if I remember correctly and the PS4 has a bit more advanced electronics.
Looks like the same problem the V1 version of the McLaren wheel suffered from.
I think I have the same problem with the v2 in iRacing, csl elite 1.1. Only seems to be on downshift for me. I’ve also updated to driver 4.01.
