Clubsport wheelbase "off-center"? Or not?

My clubsport wheel base stops turning about 80 degrees to the left of center when turned all the way left and stops about 100 degrees right of center when turned all the way right. Is this normal? Can it be adjusted?
I would expect it to be about 90 degrees in either direction at the maximum turning angle. There are 2.5 turns lock to lock, but it seems the center of the full rotation is not actually in the middle of the travel.
The attached pictures are of the wheel turned fully left and then fully right.
Thanks

Can you advise which drivers and firmwares you have currently on?
Is the wheel center properly calibrated?
When the base is off, is the end position of the steering wheel is the same on both sides?
irrelevant as the base is off.
the base is off on the pics, so this seems to be hardware related.
did you have a look inside the base while turning the wheel to each end?
how is this off set handled in the driver?
I thought it was for illustration purposes to show the position since he said side to side was 2.5 turns.
So wanted to check if he had updated updated the drivers and if he had calibrated the center after the update. 😎
Good catch @Sascha.
Base is turned off and is hardware limited to the positioning in the photos. I have the most recent drivers according to the Fanatec updater.
I noticed this offset in the rotation first thing when I unboxed it a few days ago and I turned the shaft by hand. It stops in the positions pictured when unpowered.
When powered ON, the wheel limits the rotation to the right to about 80 degrees off center. It mirrors the same angle that the left is hardware limited to, but it sets a "soft" limit using the force feedback to stop the wheel from rotating fully to its hardware limited position. Once its on, it works fine, but the rotation is limited to just less than 2.5 turns lock to lock.
The center position seems to be recognized correctly by the software. That is, when the wheel looks perfectly centered, it is reading as such in the software.
Thanks for the responses so far. I will be on later when I get home from work.
