Is the PS4 CSL Elite wheel base compatible with the Xbox/PC McLaren GT3 V2 steering Wheel? I'm trying to dianose why my steering wheel is not recognized by the wheel base. I have tried both the v381 and 400 drivers and when trying to update the firmware for the steering wheel, it states, "Steering Wheel not connected".

yes it is, can you show a picture of the update tab when the wheel is connected and also a pic of the wheel connected to the base?
Here are pictures of the wheel and the update tab.
thx, can you post a pic of the QR?
What is the QR
quickrelease, is the steering wheel fully pushed onto the drift shaft of your wheelbase? Pins of the wheel are all okay?
Here are pics of the QR. The pins are fine and are not bent. I did notice that when I push the wheel on the shaft, I can not tighten the QR at that point, I have to back it up and then it will allow me to tighten. Once it's tightened, I push forward, not the best connection in my opinion.
so did you check the connection of the wheel when you push it fully on?
So you aren't able to tighten the QR at all when the wheel is fully push in?
Because you shouldn't be able to push the wheel further when it's tightened.
Looks like you didn’t push the wheel fully on the axle.
You can still see the slot where the rubber ring is and if I’m correct the QR needs to go over the rubber ring a bit.
That you can not tighten the QR is also a sign it is not fully pushed on the axle. Untighten the QR and use a bit more force to fully push the wheel on the axle. You should not need to back off a bit to be able to tighten it.
So I can push the wheel completely on, but at that point I cannot tighten.
If I back the wheel off slightly I can completely tighten the QR. The wheel will not come off, but I can push it forward. Hopefully that makes sense.
