Second guessing my order.
I have been trying all day to order a new wheel base, pedals, and two steering wheels (upgrading from a logitech G27 )but the issues that I and everyone else seem to be having has me extremely hesitant that this is a sign of future QC and support issues. I was so ready to drop 2k but now I'm rethinking and may go with heusinkveld and Thrustmaster or Simucube instead. Thanks Fanatec.

If you have already made your mind don't see the reason why you should register to the forum and write your decision. Is this going to change anything for you?
If I was Mr Fanatec, i would find this kind of feedback helpful in identifying those aspects of my company that needed strengthening. You should be thanking the OP rather than snarking at him. I wonder how many others make similar decisions without ever buying here. We only hear from those voices who have bought then regret that decision! :-)

Mate mine has just arrived I would not ever buy Fanatec again I feel like I've wasted my money. I'd had a Logitech in the past I wish I'd just gone back with them.

Would have been easier to have refused delivery like you said you would do.
I have a full time job I had no notification it was arriving and it was left with my neighbor so could not refuse it.
I have also initiated a return however I'm trying all I can to fix the pedals in the mean time.
You seem to have an issue with me as I've had a disgusting service from the moment I placed the order. Somehow that's my fault to you.
Yup, you've mentioned your disappointment with Fanatec's service a few times. I've also had disappointing service on several occasions so feel your pain. I've no issue with you, in fact think I helped you understand what your charges would be on delivery. Just surprised that you now seem to be putting yourself through further needless pain, you were clear that you regretted ordering and simply wanted a refund and to move on. You say you have instigated a return so why waste more time trying to get the gear working properly just to send it back? Seems pointless. Just package it up, wait for the courier to collect and deal with a different company.
If I can get it to work I can sell it in this country for more than what I've paid for it rather than waiting 3 weeks for a return and then waiting for Fanatec to refund me it's as simple as that really.
Your choice, my view remains that a refund and walk away would be quicker and less aggravating. Anyway, good luck with that. Let us know what you decide to replace it with.
