Just attached my new wheel to my rig and noticed it's not parallel to the wheelbase. My left hand sits 5-10mm further forward than my right. Doesn't sound like much I guess, but feels like a lot more.
Spent a while figuring out what was wrong. Narrowed it down to the plastic quick release. Seems like its not perpendicular. Only slightly out, but over the distance of the wheel width, it adds up.
I've sent Fanatec a support ticket. Anyone else have and issue with theirs? Or something similar?

Manual calibrate/center as per you manual instructions.
Thanks, but you've mis-understood.
It's not the rotation that is off. It's how parallel the wheel is to the wheel base. Looking at it from a top down view. Instead of the shaft coming out at 90º to the base, it's slightly off. So the wheel sits crooked.
Hopefully it’s just the plastic QR that is bent and not the rim itself. 10mm seems like a lot can you not see exactly where it is bent?
Yeah it seems that way. Looks like the moulding is off. I have measured the QR and it is 2mm bent to one side.
Update - Fanatec responded and were great as usual. Said that this is a known issue and they would send out a replacement. Happy customer.
their manufacturing tolerances leave a lot to be desired
