Thanks, this was very helpful. I don't use Fanalab much and always thought the Compatibility setting I select in Wheel Properties carried over. Thanks again.
I own four games that are natively supported by Fanalab and four games that are not. For Wreckfest and Nascar I configured the various settings and saved profiles under Dirt Rally. When I play one of these games, in Fanalab I select Dirt Rally, Load the Wreckfest Game profile and start Wreckfest using a (Steam) icon on the Windows 10 Start Menu. Everything seems to work, the settings are being applied.
Has anyone been successful running Fanalab 1.55.5 with Formula V2 and CSW 2.0 in F1 2020, if so can you provide step by step including F1 2020 game settings
Hello! I have recently made the switch to PC with my csl elite base. Since there is an issue with driver 402 on csl elite bases and steering angles, should i go with fanalab v1 53? That version is the only one to download if i click downloads on my base on the my products page.
... a greedy low priority request.. It would be nice to be able to toggle the Gear LED to be for a dog leg shift pattern therefor it would minus 1 value on shifts. That way I do not have to remap my shifter when swapping between a conventional 5 speed or a dog leg shift pattern.
Sorry if this has been covered but I cant find it - is there a keyboard shortcut to swap between profiles? I desperately need it as its impossible to do in VR any other way.
Thats a game issue. I bet you talk about iRacing, right? In iRacing the telemetry signal for enabled Pit Limiter ONLY comes when you actively HIT the limiter, the game doesnt send a telemetry signal when you only have the Pit Limiter engaged. SimHub mitigates this with a workaround I think which doesnt apply to FanaLab afaik.
Hi! I am having problems running iRacing on Fanalab. If i try to open it thought steam it brings me to the iRacing website & doesn't show as running in Fanalab. If i do it with the green box & select my iRacing UI (which I normally use & prefer to use) it will bring me to the UI but still no running in Fanalab. ACC & AC works perfectly. Any ideas? Thanks
I've noticed that as well which is fine. What I ended up doing is I have 9 games, five are supported natively by Fanalab. I use preset 1-4 for the five games that are supported, Dirt Rally and PC2 and close enough I can use the same preset for these two. Then I added iRacing to main tab, which I don't own. I select that on the Game Profiles tab, where I have profiles created for the four games that aren't supported. They are all configured to use Preset 5. Seems to work, just be nice if you could unload a profile.
Probably my problem, but I can't honestly understand what you mean by unload... You mean reverting back to stock settings? Even before fanalab, there were always "something" loaded unless you manually reset the profiles.
After installing the latest version of Fanalab (v1.54.5), the software seems to partially recognize my pedals. Under Active Devices on the main page it sees that I have the following hardware:
CSL Elite wheelbase
CSL Steering wheel for PS4
CSL Elite Pedals with LC
Now, on the Tuning Menu page, there was a drop-down to access and adjust the Brake Force - either that's gone or the software is not properly recognizing the pedals.
Since experiencing the problem I've updated to all the latest drivers, but still not seeing my a Brake Force slider bar to adjust the brake force on for my brake pedal anywhere in the Fanalabs software.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
The pedals are installed in the manner that the installation guide lays out. When this started happening I took them apart to ensure they were installed the way the installation guide lays out. I used this guide CSL-EP-LCK-QG_Web_05_MO (fanatec.com) to make sure I had it set up the way Fanatec expects. If you'd like images to verify I'd be happy to snap and share a few for you.
The USB cables from the pedal and wheel are plugged into the PC directly, I've tried it with a powered USB hub and get the same results.
Let me know if I can provide any further details from my end of the setup...
The Brakeforce option within the Tuning menu (and therefore in the driver and FanaLab) is only available when the pedals are connected via RJ12 to the Base and not via USB to PC.

No. You can also use Fanalab 1.54.5 with driver 381 without any problems.

Hello everyone, is there a way to dim the LEDs in the Porch HUB please.
Thank you
Pat
No.
Thank you very much Maurice

thankyou
please disregard my last comment.. i simply had a brain fart :)
Hi is it possible to have the rev led always on %, every time i start the pc it goes to the raw values.
Thanks
No, that is not possible. RPM is the new default.
Hi,
is it possible that the Pit Limiter LED is active as long as the pit limiter itself is active?
For me it only shows when i reach the Speedlimit in Pits. In Simhub it shows the Pit Limiter as soon as it is active.
Would be awsome!
Regards
Maurice

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've looked thru the menus multiple times.
If I Load a game profile so it's active, is there a way to Unload it so its not longer active, without having to close Fanalab?
Thank you.
No that's not possible
Even when you close fanalab, the settings loaded by profile still remain active until you load another or change the settings manually...
can someone please help with a reply to my post! I would greatly appreciate it!

Is the BMW GT2 fixed LED colours..?
Yes. It's a very old wheel which Doesnt have RGB LEDs.

thanks Maurice.. It is old, still i think it one of the nicer rims. Feels good in the hands :)

How do you have your pedals connected?

And there is your issue.
The Brakeforce option within the Tuning menu (and therefore in the driver and FanaLab) is only available when the pedals are connected via RJ12 to the Base and not via USB to PC.
