Loadcell generates brake input when resting foot

Hi everyone,
I upgraded the CSL Elite Pedals with the load cell kit. Before that, with the normal CSL Elite brake, everything was working perfectly. Now with the loadcell, when resting the foot (very!) lightly on the brake pedal while on throttle, there is always a slight brake input which is really frustrating. And having to always hold the foot above the pedal without even the slightest touch is also really uncomfortable in the longer races. I tried with a larger deadzone on the brake pedal, but I am not sure if this is the solution to this problem. Does anyone else have experience with this?
Thanks in advance and all the best!

You may need to put in some more deadzone in the PC Driver settings for the wheel, as well as adding some in each individual games settings. Most games have a page in the settings where you can see the input amount when you press the pedals or turn the steering wheel. So just adjust then check, rinse and repeat.
There is a very nice book of 47 pages called the manual....
On page 30 is your answer.

+1.....I just didn’t want to say it again. Seems like A LOT of people either don’t know how to find the instructions or just don’t bother to read it and go straight to the forums.....take it at face value.
And even if in forums they don't search (but I don't blame them on this one cause is kind of a mess 🤣 )
But to give him credit he said he tried to fix the dead zone but wasn't sure if that was the correct fix.
So he has done his reading.
Very true. My comment was meant as a generic statement. So I hope the OP doesn’t think it was aimed their way.
All OPS think that our comments are directed to them personally. Don't worry....
Even my funny one will look sarcastic to most of the readers.... 🤣
