Hey
I am about to buy a csl elite from my friend that is bairly used and i have previousensly had a thrustmaster. I wonder if your can use all different wheel rims or du you need an adapter to some of them because it says cls, clubsport or podium on the rims. What adapters do your recomend? I just wanna make sure i dont buy a rim that doesent fit cuz i plan to buy other rims.
thanks

Hi. You need to have universal hub from fanatec in order to use different rim on it. Any wheel from fanatec website will fit your csl elite. This is the best choice to make https://fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/clubsport-steering-wheel-universal-hub-for-xbox-one
Okay so for for ex i can buy this https://fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/clubsport-steering-wheel-formula-v2 without an adaper and it will fit the csl elite? The thing that i dont really get is the quick relese system. On this wheel it looks like it is quick relese but it's not quick relese on the csl elite. The hubs look different on the back that's connect to the base. Maby i'm wrong but i just wanna be sertain
thanks
Every Fanatec wheel will fit any Fanatec wheel base (currently)!
At the moment there are three different quick releases at Fanatec wheels: Old entry level plastic "QR" with steel collar and fixing screw, new entry level plastic QR and the "real" QR (available in different colors, but technically the same). All of these will fit to the wheel base hub of every Fanatec wheel base.
The mentioned Unversal Hub will be needed, if you plan to use a third-party steering wheel in order to make it compatible to the Fanatec Eco system, but as long as you use a Fanatec wheel, it will fit.
There will be a totally new QR together with the announced BMW GT wheel, however there are no details know except that this won't be compatible out of the box, afaik.
Okay now i get it many thanks!
Looking forward to upgrading from a thrustmaster to a fanatec rig:)
