Wheel Settings

I have a Porsche 918 RSR wheel and the McLaren GT3 wheel I use on a Clubsport 2.5 base. If I set a profile on one wheel does it only apply to that one or both? Meaning I use the Porsche wheel for Rally racing and the GT3 for road racing would I need to set one up in profile 1 and the other in profile 2. What I am wondering is where do the settings save too. The wheel or the wheel base.
