Controlling Formula V2 LEDs

I'm shocked I can't find this - in short I want to use the LEDs on my Formula V2 with rFactor 2 (specifically) - I have the shift lights and Pit Lane and Pit Limiter working via FanaLab but all the others, like all the flags, etc are all basically grayed out and not available to be turned on. I don't get it as Pit Lane and LImiter work just fine.
Am I missing something? Can this just not be done?

When some LED options are greyed out then this means the game Telemetry does not output respective Information so there is nothing FanaLab can do to get those settings working.
Hmm, well not to argue but another friend uses SimHub to achieve the same thing on his wheel (part of a Simucube setup). So I know rFactor 2 outputs the information, maybe what you mean is that FanLab doesn't access it - regardless what I'm hearing is if it isn't here then I can't do it, which is a big bummer.
Pretty absurd that in 2021 there would be any kind of limitation for something like this given how open these standards have been for such a long time.

Maybe at the next firmware update they will include the additional information.
A firmware cant change anything in this regard.
Have a look at iRacing.... To prevent cheating they disabled pretty much everything in their Telemetry regarding TC, Slip, Lock etc.
But RF2 hasn't disabled this telemetry - if SimHub can access it there is no reason that I can see why Fanatec couldn't include this in a future firmware update. Perhaps you can elaborate on why you are certain this won't be the case - is it a functional limitation or simply lack of motivation?
if at all then its coming in a future FanaLab update, not firmware.
Things like that have nothing to do with firmware in the first place.
Fanatec's usual line that you repeated above is that the reason the lights don't work is the because the game doesn't send the data. My point is that is not the case - the telemetry is sent - either Fanalab or the ITM aspect of the firmware doesn't read it. Nobody cares i the issue is with firmware or Fanalab - users just expect it to work and would like to see it in a future update.
