Scattergun approach to CSL Distribution
Been trying to understand Fanatecs seemingly incoherent approach to who receives their csl DD.
People who should have been in wave 1 but ordered after me have got them, people in wave 2 have got them in some cases before wave 1.
Why does it seem incoherent and can anyone help me with projecting an eta. I didn't mind, but this seeming lack of logic is starting to frustrate me.

Just go with your availability date in your order and ignore everything else…
Thanks, but it doesn't really help me understand the seemingly incoherent approach to orders that Fanatec have?
I would love it if someone from them was to pick up on this and provide a little clarity to their plans and methods.
I doubt understanding why others got their bases before you will help you feel less frustrated. Try deep breathing. Or yoga.
Actually it really does.
Using order numbers and time of their orders, I was able to roughly anticipate when orders would expect to be completed based on the subsequent delivery dates, it wasn't taxing to do the maths, just relied on a few simple calculations.
However, a lack of logic will literally keep me awake at night.
Well there were requirements for each wave its possible you didn't qualify, I should have been in wave one, as I meet the requirements but my order says oct 19th so I guess im third wave ☹.
First wave:
Must use an existing Fanatec account with previous order history Must be subscribed to the Fanatec newsletter One unit per customer
Second wave:
Must have a Fanatec account Must be subscribed to updates through newstandardd.fanatec.com One unit per customer
Third wave:
Available on the website for everyone One unit per customer
Thanks, I was second wave but I was aware, its more the seemingly random arrival of the units I've been unable to understand.
One thing, probably small factor if any at all, might be that some orders were pushed up a wave due to people canceling orders. Just saying this because, I surprisingly have seen quite a lot of people in other forums and places in the ether that were not happy about something, or changed their minds, or whatever and canceled their order.
No way, I wonder what has caused anyone to cancel their order!
The only thing that would convince me to change would be if delivery failed by the expected date and Thrustmaster brought out a DD competitor with such rave reviews as the DD, and that doesn't seem likely 😂
You will be flabbergasted by the excuses and reasons that have been mentioned by users in this forum or in generally in the social media. 😂😂😂
But everyone is entitled their opinion and do whatever they want with their hard earned money.
