qr1 play

Hello,
I have began to notice a fairly significant amount of play in my qr1 on my xbox universal hub since getting my csl dd (coming from a csl elite with no play). I also have a mclaren gt3 rim but the plastic qr is perfect with zero play. While the play is not currently a big problem (although it does have a knocking noise when changing direction with the wheelbase) i am worried that it will continue to get worse and either damage my wheel or the wheelbase. Is this something i should be concerned about and get in contact for a warranty issue?

Are you using the additional bolt that secures the wheel a bit more and eliminates a lot of play in most cases?
I have not tried using the bolt, but I also do not remember getting one when I bought my wheel. The only thing i remember getting is the plastic tab that hold the qr for storage, but does not fit into the wheel base side. The main issue I have with using the bolt if i can find it or source another one is that i swap between wheels very frequently and this would cause me a massive headache
I think “massive headache” is a little bit of an exaggeration…..it takes 30 seconds.
I also have a CSL DD and McLaren v2 rim. I don't remember getting this bolt with either the rim or the QR itself, but maybe I missed something or didn't realize what I was looking at?
You will only receive a bolt with the McLaren V2 if you choose the QR1 Wheel-Side option (metal). The standard reinforced plastic QR (QR1 Lite Wheel-Side) does not have a bolt.
