Thank you Maurice, and Marcel!. Updating the drivers fixed my issues. I didn't see any driver updates in the properties pages or Fanaleb, so I'll need to figure out when to know when the new drivers come out.
I don't think I appreciated Fanaleb before, but I hadn't played around with it a lot and was an older version. It is pretty cool as I play with it a bit more, especially pulling down your profiles Maurice.
That said, is there more documentation around on the profiles and configuration files? Immediately, as a programmer, I'm curious how to understand how to tweak your configurations Maurice from DD2 to DD1, and what all the various differences are beyond just the strength of the effects.
Thanks again for helping w/ the configuration issues!
edit: Oh, and the ITM stuff is great, especially in F1. Is there a way to scroll through ITM settings with the rotary dials on the wheels?
I got my CSL DD last week and I installed the software from fanatec (driver 429 and fanalab 1.60.1). So, first I update the driver and after that I openend fanalab. Since than everything was still there like in the posted picture is shown.
After an update to fanalab 1.60.2 everything is still there...
During the firmware installation the CSL DD was in "PC Mode" (red light) and first I played in this cvonfiguration, but now I tried the "Compatile Mode" (yellow light) and everything is still allright an shown in the fanalab 1.60.2.
Still having the same problem, Fanalab doesn't show the most important tuning options anymore
Also in profile tab it seems like it doesn't store most of the informations anymore and the tab list further down is mostly greyed (or titled "unavailabe") out
Last night I upgraded from 1.60.1 to 1.60.2. When I opened Fanalab it didn't detect my devices. They did display in Fanatec Control Panel. I tried everything but the only thing that worked was reinstalling 1.60.2.
This is the first time this has ever happened and the only thing I did differently this time was uninstalling 1.60.1, reboot, and installing 1.60.2. In the past, I would install the latest version over the previous version.
I'm having the same issue as Felipe and Lukas. Only the recommend profile will load and show active, any custom profile will not show in the active box.
I deleted all previous profiles, loaded the recommended iracing profile, made some changes then exported it. Tried to reload the new profile but will not load.
Connect the pedals directly to the Base and see if that helps. If you have a Fanatec Base it's always recommended to connect pedals to the base directly anyway...
Yes USB connection is an issue with 1.60 but as a workaround until the issue is fixed the direct connection to the base would have fixed the issue for you as well as that is the recommended connection method Anyway.
For some reason every time I start Project Cars 2 the wheel is in PC mode when it should be in Comp v2.5. I start a race nothing works then I realize the problem and have to exit out...
Would be nice if Fanalab saved the wheelbase mode with the Game Profile and prompted you to change it if it wasn't in the correct mode.
I stand corrected. I've done this numerous times and don't remember this behavior.
Start a race in Project Cars 2 and nothing works because the wheel is in PC mode. While still in the game I hit the two buttons on the wheel to change it to Comp v2.5, restart the game, and everything works.
I just did the exact same thing this time and after restarting the game nothing worked. I checked Fanalab and no devices were detected. I checked Fanatec Control Panel and buttons lit up when I pressed them. Hit the two buttons on the wheel for PC mode, devices detected in Fanalab. Restart the wheelbase, still, no devices in Comp2.5 mode, have devices in PC mode.
Restart the computer and I now have devices in Compv2.5 mode.

it still doesn't work for me. saving again does not help either
How did you do that?
It's just working for him. As well as for me and every internal Tester...
Very weird that it's not showing for you..
Tried driver as well as fanalab reinstall with clean settings and nothing.
And you have the same issue that no active Profile is shown with 1.60.2 and Driver 429?

With the Porsche GT3 is all okay! By the McLaren v2 Wheel i have clear the Profile and save this once again and is working!

Correct
Which driver and firmware?
I've asked the dev what could help him to investigate on your issues.
Go to settings -> log settings -> make sure the boxes of the screenshot are checked
Use the collect logs function and upload them here
Is it maybe because the base is in Comp.2.5 mode?
thanks
I hope it helps, I'm back online today or tomorrow, should I send something again?

Which driver and Firmware are you using with which Base?
DD2, Driver 429
Wheel Base Firmware 689
Wheel Base Motor Firmware 41
I performed the manual firmware upgrade.
It only happened one time, since reinstalling it's been fine.
Robert
Just upgraded to this version and now Fanalab quits just after being started.
At first it seems like it is minimized to tray, but the F icon just dissapears when you hover over it.
Which version did you used before?
What driver are you using?

Running DD2,429 driver and 689 firmware.
v1.60.2 fails to start, tries but crashes, when CSP V2's are plugged in.
Starts ok when not plugged in.
Same problem with 429 drivers
Cool, good to know, thanks Marcel

Don't have that connector any more.
Works fine with 1.57.4
