DD2 hub randomly stops working
Hi,
I have a DD2 Hub, advanced paddle module and the button paddle module.
FanaLab: V1.60.6
When playing any kind of racing sim while driving the wheel randomly looses all force feedback and steering input.
I don't get any noise from windows to say it's disconnected.
I have encountered this issue multiple times. It usually occurs after about 15 mins of play time.
After the wheel fails I switched over to Fanalab and can see that it still seems like it's working but changing any of the settings has no effect on the wheel.
Once I close and re-open Fanalab it crashes immediately.
It's only once I emergency stop the wheel that Fanalab starts working again.
I went into the event viewer to see what went wrong and managed to find the attached error (error-1.png)
Let me know if you require any further information I'll do my best to update this thread.

Your driver is way too old and not compatible with FanaLab 1.60.6.
You need driver 432.
However, loosing FFB is not a FanaLab issue but a Driver or Fiirmware issue - or a hardware issue where the connection gets lost, maybe because of too much flex.
Here's the log file from fanalab
As said, its not a FanaLab issue. FanaLab just crashes because your base looses FFB connection, its a chain reaction but not the root cause why you loose FFB.
Thanks I'll update that driver version and see if that fixes anything
I updated the driver to latest but it just happened again?
Then it's a hardware issue and you need to contact the support.
