Court Proceedings Against Fanatec Endor AG Oberbank

I am going to have to engage in legal proceedings in court UK to retrieve my prepayment transfer for CSL DD Pro Bundle PS5. Fanatec Support told me to use this method on Nov 26 2021 as their payments system was not working properly. Since then my bank transferred the money on Nov 29 2021 and Fanatec and their bank Oberbank Munchen deny receiving it. So I have to go to court and claim legal costs court costs etc just to get me money back. Fanatec even worse than Thrustmaster.
Do not buy Fanatec they and their bank steal your money.
My bank can prove that my money arrived correctly at Oberbank
Then your bank should be able to recover the money by simply reversing the transaction. The only way the transfer could not be reversed is if the receiver raises a dispute. In order for Endor to dispute the reversal - they would need to confirm that they indeed received it.
Unless of course an error had been made somewhere in the process, potentially by Fanatec, giving you incorrect account details, or you making an error in passing those details to your bank, or by your bank making an error in the transaction.
I'm sorry to hear about the payment problems you're experiencing. I see that customer service updated you on the situation today. It is unusual that a bank transfer takes this long, but not unheard of. I asked our accounting department personally, and they confirmed that we have not received the payment yet. Therefore I recommend that you continue to communicate with your bank, and to our customer service. If something has gone wrong in the process, this should be easy to track down.

I believe if the OP used bank transfer then the transaction is not reversible.
You can only do that with credit card as that is a feature that most banks offer for credit card transactions, if I am not wrong.
OP's bank should be able to trace where the money went to. The account number should say isn't it? Unless the bank typed in the wrong account number.
If that is the case, then Oberbank have the responsibility to reverses the transaction.
remember guys: you find out one day you have an increased balance in your account as a result of an error, that is NOT your money! you spend it, you have to pay it back!
I am trying to recover this my bank says defo Oberbank have my payment so Oberbank is the problem
Chill bro, they’re legit.
I think you need to research this before posting.
Your Bank says Oberbank have your payment.
Do they tell you that is in the correct beneficiary account?
If they are sure no mistake has happened (from your or your bank's side) ask your bank to issue you a "SWIFT copy MT103" so you can give it to FANATEC in order to help you trace funds through Oberbank.
This is what we use when a vendor claims he has paid us and the funds have not reached our account. 😉
woah yuri... dont stamp on it after you knock it on the ground! 😋
do enlighten me please. cheers!
Thanks David but Fanatec have now told me to piss off basically so once sorted hopefully I shall no longer be a customer of Fanatec as they seem to be even worse than Thrustmaster. So I shall remain with Logitech. Seems Fanatec does not value new customers.
I do feel your frustration. Keep pushing your bank.
Hope it works out for you.
Thanks David the only good person in Fanatec
Basically now I would not have Fanatec equipment if they gave it to me free.
I was planning on spending more on a shifter and F1 wheel but not now this company support is worse than Thrustmaster.
haha good luck with Logitech support
I hope you enjoy your new wheel. Do keep up us updated on the progress of your legal proceedings.
Logitech wheel had for a year with upgrades kits. Never buying Fanatec again ever even if free totally bad experience here.
As I understand Rod, you didn't buy anything from Fanatec yet. I don't understand why you blaming Fanatec for obvious bank mistake.
Regarding bad experience, you look like your problem is worst than this: https://www.rt.com/news/541985-fine-wrong-leg-amputation/
Cool down, man, try to solve your problem where you should at the first place ( your bank ) , and when your Fanatec gear come , you will never more mention Logitech in any serious sim-gear context.
Whish you all the best and hope you will get your money back
In conclusion money back, my bank not Fanatec or Oberbank, so there you go. Bye.
Like I said in my first post in this thread. No need for legal action - just let the bank sort in. No need for drama.
So you can’t even attempt an apology for the false allegations that they “stole your money” and are “crooks” that you said enough times in multiple posts.
Yeah, the guy seems like a bit of an ass. Comes here all guns blazing, threatening this and that and then had to go away with his tail between his legs and doesn't even have the decency to apologise for his behaviour.
You cannot satisfy every customer! There will be one of those every now and then. Hence we are all different to keep things interesting. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. Stay safe!
I think Fanatec probably dodged a bullet with him deciding to not be a customer. That guy seems like the kind of person that would try to warranty dispute every single tiny little thing and would always find some way to say he's never buying Fanatec ever again.
So what you're saying is you were wrong in accusing all other parties and the issue was with your own bank all along. Now how about being a man and owning up to your own mistake and reclaim some semblance of dignity? Comparing Logitech wheels to Fanatec is like comparing a Toyota Corolla to a Porsche. But your loss, enjoy your Logitech gear.
I think mods should remove this post
