Order getting processed - Label created - No Shippement
Guys,
please don't tease people like that. I was already receiving a "order been processed" mail end of November, what seemed to be an error. Fine with that. Received the same now last week Thursday 16/12, then got notified on Friday 17/12 in my UPS App about a new delivery. So it says "label created" since that. Nothing left the warehouse ...
I happily would have been waiting till 3rd Jan for my CSL DD, but now my hopes were raised to get it even before my christmas holidays what is not looking like going to happen somehow.
Would be better to just send those mails out when it is really going to happen...

Not cool at all... my order status is "order processed" has been this way for 12 days... quick to take the money... very slow to ship or to respond in with any meaningful information . Sad state of affairs.
Yeah very bad word for fanatec everywhere, they take my money 21 oct for shipment 29nov, still on order processed for 11 days, its really a joke this compagny. My friend order 1 week after me at simulation1 and already received is dd ...
I sent an email through their contact form on their website n 12-20-2021 at 9:00 am, est. Then opened a chat with 1 person in the queue this morning, 2 minutes later received no one is available to chat try later. They do not have a good customer experience with the order processing for the United States and elsewhere.
I placed this order on the 13, of December 2021 for a Gran Turismo DD Pro for reason that you had these in stock, available, and was willing to pay the extra money to bypass the shipping ports and to have it shipped it air cargo. The status on 14 of December, an email showed it was being packed ready for shipment in the warehouse and the tracking number would be available once the carrier picked up the shipment. The order now shows that it has been processed. It has now been 7 days since it was processed in the warehouse. The intent of this order was for a Christmas gift on Christmas, not after. Where is the communication from this company? You have processed and deposited my credit card money. I have no product, no communication. I asked them to please update me regarding the Air shipment, US warehouse, and Fed-Ex Ground Tracking number today.
Just a little frustrated with this company. Just venting.

Mass production of the Gran Turismo DD Pro is underway, and we’re doing everything we can to ensure that the first batches arrive in time for Gran Turismo 7 in March 2022, despite the extended shipping times currently affecting global sea freight.
At the same time, we knew that many customers would like to receive a GT DD Pro before Christmas, so we are offering a limited number of ‘Express Versions’ that have been sent from our production facilities in China to our regional warehouses using air freight. This is an expensive shipping option but is the only way to bypass the delays at the ports. The first units have already arrived in EU, AU, and JP regions (you’ll see the product page now says ‘Available’ and ‘Ready to ship’ - some customers even received theirs today) and will be ready to ship from the US warehouse on Monday. All Gran Turismo DD Pro Express orders placed so far will ship by next week.
If you order the Express Version right now, we are confident that you will receive the unit by Christmas (all regions). We will make adjustments to the information on the product page when this is no longer possible.
I pinned an open forum request to Fanatec about these issues. Absolutely absurd they leave us in the dark for almost 2 weeks on orders they state they are shipping. Frustrating and feels as though they don't really respect the customer, just the money. We simply want to be treated like you care about more than just our dollars.
That's Great, Ahmad. Thank you. As they say, Marketing might get the first sale or order, however, customer service will get the second, third, and so on. It appears their average order size is around $1,000.00 per order. That is a lot of cash flow or money to float revenue on their books at the end of the year. In Fanatec's case, I believe they need to work and invest in engineering a world-class customer experience platform to support their marketing and sales efforts, in order to survive as a company. It may appear their current distribution software and logistics platform cannot support their efforts and growth. I wonder what their revenue leakage is in lost sales or turn? Right now they have my money, with no product or service. Time will tell.
Maybe they just invoice orders at the end of the year so they don't pay taxes on the inventory? I used to invoice orders that have not been picked up by the carriers all the time and they would usually ship within a day or two. The issue came up when we had a fire one time and now our insurance would not replace these items because they were no longer our property and should not have been there. Please keep our property safe till you decide to ship it, I guess. Not a good business practice IMO.
Any courier that have a delivery contract they don't go whenever ONE order is ready. They collect in batches and some times is not even a daily collection. Looks like Fanatec in US with FedEx they do once every few days bulk collections.
I contacted Fanatec about the GT DD PRO I also ordered on Dec 13 and got this reply:

We will rectify the error in your account for you. Once your items are actually ready to ship, you will receive a new status update.
We know how excited you are to start racing and apologize for any confusion this glitch caused.

I then replied about the fact the express version isn’t a preorder and says available to ship then got this:

The deadline of the pre-order date of the express version is already over. (17th December). Express version had the ETA before Christmas.

I haven’t had a reply to my next message asking if this means I’ll have to wait until the official release in March or if there’s another shipment coming by air in January for Express orders. There was no ETA as Canadian orders take longer anyway. Really confusing… I might just cancel if possible.
Correction: There was no ETA as it was ready to ship just like it is right now. I knew I wouldn’t get it before Christmas in Canada ;)

I would hate to think how hard it would be to get a refund if you did cancel your order, if it is this hard to get an item shipped that shows in stock!
You’re in Canada? It was to be expected that it would be delayed with COVID and bad USPS management but that’s a long time with very little progress. So you waited roughly 7 business days for it to ship. I’m surprised it takes so long for orders to ship. I think the fact they called it express gives you high expectations but once it has been flown from China to the US, there’s nothing express about it unless you’re lucky.

So… I’m not expecting much anymore haha Maybe should’ve waited for Simulation 1 to get it. What’s frustrating is the apparent lack of care of their customer service. Seems like they copy and paste answers without really looking at each individual case. They’re probably getting too many emails but I think I would’ve been better off not getting an answer 🤣

But it 's weird that i didn't get a Texto for the last movement of my gear, had to go to Endicia Shipment web page to see that it left Detroit on Dec 24 . So Hopefully I will get it before the end of the week.
You should get it soon. You ordered it as soon as it came out so you avoided the current back order. If it took you over a month, I assume mine will be there in early February.
Well it's December 28 and still no news on my gear since it departed Detroit on December 24 ;(
At least, it’s coming.
I finally managed to contact customer support again and I’ve asked them to cancel the order. They said it was warehouse processing which is not what the other agent said… They’ll still cancel it and refund it when it’s done. That’s the end of my Fanatec adventure.
I would be interested to know how long this process takes. I would bet you are not the only one looking at other options.
