CSL pedals load cell kit. BRF resets to 30%, after turning CSL DD base off everytime.

Is there somewhere on the Fanatec Control Panel where I can save the setting? Or am I not doing something right?
My pedals are connected to the base. I am using driver 434. My base is on compatibility mode.
CSL DD base firmware: 1.1.3.2
Motor firmware: 1.0.2.2
McLaren wheel firmware: 43
CSL pedals load cell kit firmware: 1.6
Am I right the PC mode (SCL DD) is still not recognised by ACC?

Same issue but with straight USB Connection to my PC. I have re-installed drivers.
PC Driver: 434
Pedals firmware: 1.6
I get the same thing. It's pretty annoying and hopefully can get fixed in a driver/firmware update real soon
Same here, CSL Pedals load cell kit, USB connection, PC Driver 434, Pedals FW 1.6, BRF reset to 30% after power cycling the PC.
Same issue here with load cell brake direct USB connection.
Fanatec pls fix.
I have the same issue (currently using USB connection from pedal to PC)
Please fix, Fanatec :)
Thaks :)
I have found 2 solutions:
From Wheel:
If you have a wheel that will access the Fanatec FFB settings, you can use that to adjust the BRF and it will be saved. I have the McLaren GT3 V2 wheel and I can access the tuning menu from the wheel, using the tuning menu button and funky switch to access the BRF figure to change it and it will be saved.
From Fanatec Control Panel: under tuning menu...
You will need to have a setup that you are not using. eg setup 5.
Go to the setup that you are currently using or the one that you wish to change the BRF, in my instance above setup 4. Change the BRF, then select, 'setup 5', then close the window and what you have set in setup 4 will be saved. Then you have to close Fanatec Control Panel, turn off base, turn on base, start Fanatec Control Panel and select the setup that you want to use, in my case, setup 4, and do not touch the BRF slider, then close it and you will be now in setup 4 and the BRF figure would have been saved.
You can change every other setting except BRF. The moment you touch the BRF slider, it will revert back to 30% the next time you turn on the base. 😂😂😂
I guess this is for pedals plugged directly into the wheelbase. I don't get any of these options in the tuning menu and can only adjust brake force setting in the separate pedals tab (above tuning menu). Mine are plugged in via USB. Keeps getting reset to 60% upon rebooting my PC.
Interesting, I also use usb directly and mine always jumps back to 30%.
So why isn't this fixed, two driver updates were released after this was discovered and no fixes. Did any of you create a case about this with fanatec?
edit: just created a support ticket to get clarity from fanatec
Yea very strange, I noticed someone mentioned they were looking into it in another thread but I'm not sure if they're a Fanatec employee or not. Haven't seen an official statement from Fanatec regarding the issue.
Maurice did mentioned that Fanatec is looking into the issue.
I may have just discovered a fix. Instead of adjusting the setting within the Fanatec Control Panel, I set it in the Windows "Setup USB Game Controllers" Control Panel. I rebooted and it's still set to max instead of reverting to 60% as it would before :)
My problems start after power has been off. My settings usually survive a reboot. Do your settings survive a cold start?
Yea have used it for the past few days from cold start and still hasn't reset (multiple play sessions).
Hi all. I have the same issue with the load cell BRF setting reset to 30%, after turning CSL DD base off.
I'm using latest drivers (as of 27/07/2022)
Platform PS5 using DD pro, universal hub v2 and the CSL pedals with loadcell.
I can't believe there was no actual fix since February this year??
The issue is fixed with the latest driver 443 which you are not using. So just update :)
pc driver firmware is 439
how do i get the 443?

thank you very much
Have any of you guys tried plugging in your other pedals into the brake slot after having your issues? Cause I tried and the brake slot doesn't recognize anything but the LC now.
