Clutch isn't working properly on ACC

Hi there,
I'm using the McLaren GT3 v2 rim on ACC. I have my clutch paddles bounded and on the rim set to clutch/bitepoint. All assist in the settings are turned to manual. The issue I am running into is, once I have engaged the clutch once to start driving out of the pits or on a start, its fine. The issue is if the clutch gets engaged for a second time, say after a pit stop, afterwards it seems the clutch is stuck engaged or slipping and I'm stuck doing 40-50km no matter what gear I try changing into. And the car doesn't drive normal unless I keep one or both clutch paddles engaged.
I have clue how to fix this, so if anyone can help that be great! thanx.

This is not a Fanatec related hardware issue. First thought the same when I tested the new Clutch Bite Point feature of the newer FanaLab versions but found out its a game feature and not a hardware issue.
This behaviour is happening in several simulators like ACC, AMS2 and iRacing and its a "feature" called clutch wear / damage.
So when you use the clutch too often or in a bad way then the clutch wears out and that results in your behaviour.
You get the same behaviour when you try it with the regular clutch pedal of your pedal set.
And you wont get the same behaviour when you disabled in game damage - so its definetely a damage to the in game clutch system and therefore resulting in your behavbiour but that has nothing to do with the hardware :)
Okay. that might be the case for ACC, but I'm having the same issue on Iracing but my clutch on my paddles and the clutch on my pedal aren't registering my inputs to calibrate at all. I open up a support ticket with Fanatec and set over my input logs to Iracing. just waiting for a response from either or at this point. Was hoping someone would have a solution.
I also noticed this. with the old properties page the clutch was bouncing like crazy. But with the new and standard properties page. All inputs look to be normal and working perfectly.

Ignore the old UI. As the Name already says it's old and can show weird things with current drivers. Only use the new UI.
Okay. So what's shown in that video isn't actually happening with my clutches then? And any idea about my issues with Iracing as well not registering inputs of either clutch.
no, whats shown in the video is not actually happening with the clutches in game - its just clutch wear when you used the clutch too often or too aggressively as the clutch becomes warm and then does not work properly anymore. It would work fine again after you drove some laps so the clutch cooled down again but as said thatsa a feature of some games like ACC, AMS2 and iRacing but not an issue.
For iRacing dont know your exact problem but you need to map the clutch properly in the iRacing options. Not all cars in iRacing support a clutch though.
Okay. With Iracing that's what I'm trying to do. I can't even map it in the calibration menu when in a session. I'm using the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020. I'm using your DD1 profiles that you posted in another post. So I have the bite point set to exactly what you have in those files, ACC or Iracing, shouldn't I not be damaging the clutch just from launching out of the pits.
You need to select "Calibrate to detect clutch" in the dropdown in the calibration wizard in iRacing to assign a clutch in game, then just pulling the paddles or pushing the pedal on your pedal set and thats it.
I've done all of that. but when I go to pull my paddles or push my pedal, nothing comes up. It doesn't register and I don't get a Dev 2 Axis 0 or anything. That's what I've been trying to explain. I'm getting no input when on that screen like you just posted.
Mhm no idea, maybe you need to reinstall the game.
It cant be a hardware issue when it's working fine in other games so it's a game issue but other than a reinstall or deletion of the controls ini file I would have no idea, maybe someone in the iRacing Developer forum could help.
Okay. yeah i was with Iracing support for a few hours earlier today. they had no idea and i had to send them the input log file for them to send over to their development department.
Thanx for you help though.
Little off topic, will you be releasing a rF2 DD1 profiles file anytime in the future?
Nope, I do not like rF2 and therefore do not drive that game, hence I also wont do profiles for it... Sorry.
Okay no problem. thought i ask
Did you every get this resolved. I have exactly the same but on F1 2021. Totally different type of game with nowhere near the same sim properties as ACC. Works once then not again
