GT DD Pro no feedback on kerbs (Gran Turismo 7) is this normal?

Hello, I don't know if this is normal but when the car hits a kerb, the red and white, it doesn't have any force feedback feeling. From the sound it seems like the whole car is strongly vibrating, but the wheel is not transmitting any vibration. Any other feedback seems ok.
This happens in Gran Turismo 7 using a PS4.

Yep that's normal and it's just how the game Developer coded the FFB...
i thought it depended on the texture of the kerbs. Some are flatter concrete and much smoother. Some have ridges. I feel the FFB on some and not on others.
Yep that's another thing. But most kerbs just cant be felt in High speed corners because the FFB is so designed that it will remove all kind of Road noise it seems
I think that "smooth" ("dead ffb") means you're slipping in this game's ffb language. Having a slight slip is necessary in corners in race cars. They probably want that slip to be felt clearly, so all other effects disappear. I like it.
slipping is indicated by rattling
Well, rattling means you've gone way too far, in my experience. An entire race should be done without rattling, if possible.
However, for optimal slip angle in corners with race cars, you need to step just a bit over that edge into "smooth territory", and be careful with throttle/brake. As soon as you step back over the edge into "lively territory", that's when you can apply throttle/brake again.
With road cars however, low downforce and road tyres, it's often wisest to avoid "smooth territory"/slipping entirely.
I'm a bit surprised they aren't explaining the ffb language used anywhere. There's a lot of misconception and confusion.
Correct me if I'm wrong!
Then why you can feel it with the gamepad?
Because Gamepad does not have FFB, its just Rumble and a completely different code.
But in the end you have to ask this to the Game Developer.
oK that makes sense, i thought it was all FFB, thank you for the information.
