Why did you decided to downgrade back to Motor Firmware 42?
Downgrading can brick the base if not doing it correctly.
When you downgrade to old Firmwares you have to first downgrade the Motor back to V42, then the fan will spin on 100% which is normal, then you have to also downgrade the Base Firmware back to 691 and then the fan will run normal again.
But as the Driver UI does not see your Base anymore... All you can do is now press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds while the Base is turned off to enter Bootloader Mode and then manually flash the Base Firmware again.
If thats not working, then your base is bricked and you have to contact the support.
Attached new Profile Pack with the 3 new cars from todays iRacing Season 03 Build (Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020, Mercedes-AMG GT4, Radical SR10).
Unfortunately iRacing once again decided to use different RPM values for every gear on the two new Merc cars so its impossible to get the LEDs in FanaLab matching the ones in the game for those cars.
Rumble motors on formula V2 continue to turn on/off randomly while driving in ACC.
This should be reported and discussed in the FanaLab thread as it's a Fanalab issue and not a driver issue (and yes I can confirm the issue but only with Rev Limiter Vibrations and only on the Steering Wheel, Pedals are fine as well as all other Vibration settings).">
As per Maurice's instruction, reposting this issue here.
Rumble motors in Formula V2 will randomly turn full on/off driving in ACC when Rev Limiter Vibrations are enabled in Fanalab.
If its only happening with AMS2 then it might have to do with a specific telemetry trigger happening with that game, could seem random but it could help to check if its happening on a specific page of ITM or related to an automatic page change. Maybe its a position change, a laptime update, fuel getting a certain level, change of ABS/TC or what ever else is available on the currently used page. Maybe there is one scenario where FanaLab sends data to the BME which it can't handle and freezes, so checking on which page it happens and in which situation might help. You could for example use a different page or deactivate the auto page change to find out more.
So far we haven't been able to reproduce the issue but maybe we are just on a different page, are using different triggers or the car we've driven did output different results regarding telemetry for ITM. Would be great to narrow it down so also which car you are using might be interesting in case it doesn't happen with all. The kind of session could also make a difference because the timing could work differently, some have session time and some are lap limited for example.
Are maybe both FanaLab and the game sending data to the display at the same time? Make sure to disable the LED/Display function in the ACC menus when using FanaLab as described when you click on this button.
Or do you mean its working fine with the F1 wheel but not with the McLaren?
There has been no update on progress on a fix or even whether this has been given attention or quietly ignored in the hope that the community will do the required detailed testing on Fanatec's behalf.

And the freezes of the BME are 100% exclusive to AMS2 and do not happen in any other game?
Its not my favorite Sim so I dont drive it too often but I drove 2 hours yesterday and tried everything I can to force a freeze by playing around on the ITM but it just worked fine, no freeze...
Would have thought about a possible hardware connection issue when it happens to just some but when its only in AMS2 then it might be FanaLab related indeed but I dont know if this can be fixed quick when this cant be easily reproduced... :/

Okay finally got the same issue where my Speed on the ITM freezed! and it stays on that value even when the game is closed.
So it is happening - just incredibly difficult and time-consuming to reproduce... mhm.
Its still incredibly difficult to reproduce. I drove AMS2 a LOT in the recent weeks and never got any kind of freeze.
So there is more to it and we kindly asked you to help with some information but it seems you dont want to help to find the root cause and what might cause the issue so then please dont expect a fix coming soon when nobody else can reliably reproduce it.
Hello. It's not just Automobilista 2. It happened to me last night at ACC. The PBME Revolutionaries were stuck in the middle of the standings. And I think it was when I pressed the menu to go back to the garage. I know this is not helpful. But at least we know it's not just in AMS2. It's the first time it's happened to me. If it happens again I will collect all the information I can. ;)
I don't know why you think it is unhelpful. It clarifies that it is random and others have experienced it including yourself and that it is time consuming to reproduce.
It is the communities role to help by letting Fanatec know of problems with their software and it is Fanatec's job to investigate and fix. Detailed testing should be done by the development team - not the community. If these were beta releases that the community was opting in to test, then your expectation might be more reasonable. But with official releases the communities job is simply to enjoy - not test.
I am more than happy to continue passing on any info I can gather from my normal use of the software and hardware but I don't think it is reasonable to ask any more than that.
Driver 442, Base FW 3.0.0.5, Motor FW 3.0.0.2, Wheel FW 6, Endurance Module FW 21, QR FW 6, Fanalab V1.64.5
Whenever I save the wheel settings (for ACC) , The ITM display for the endurance module, will revert to whatever the Display is set to for the wheelbase.
i.e. if the wheel base is set to screen 3 and the endurance module to the legacy screen, as soon as you save your settings or load them both displays will revert to screen 3, duplicating each other
The PEBM display mirrors the Base OLED dsiplay setting. all green rotation function are disabled and I have set the favorite menu for both to different values.
Can you make a screenshot of your FanaLab ITM settings which sows your favorite page and triggers for a page change in case you use that. Alternatively you can also share the setup.
If you have the issue often it would be interesting what the page is you are using and if it still happens if you use a different page or deactivate automatic page changes.
I always use ITM screen 4 on the PBME - the one that has time gap to car behind and car ahead. It is starred as favourite. I don't use any page change triggers. I also don't display any ITM on the DD2 - that screen is left displaying the Fanatec logo text only. No screenshots at the moment as away from the gaming PC but if the info above omits anything that might be of further help, let me know.

Is the FFS toggle properly working in the Driver UI of driver 442?
now a terrible thing has happened - I have updated the D01 base again to the new version 42
fanatec panel is not detecting my base
fan in the D01 base - it moves very fast
can you help me ?

is there a movie somewhere - how to do it correctly?
:( :(
No, there is only the Driver + Manual PDF instructions included with the Driver Download.
please advise me
how do I get started now - I uninstalled all the drivers from my computer
1- I don't have any drivers in my computer
2- now I don't know what software I have installed in my base.
Where to start
Should I install any drivers - without turning on the base?
Well, when even you dont know what software you have now installed on the base.. Then I think its impossible to properly help you.
You were a bit too quick with your actions...
Best in your case is to contact the support and send your Base to them for a Repair RMA.
I made it - now I have:
PC driver 439
wheel base 691
wheel base motor 42
wireless QR: 6
how should i proceed with the update now
Iracing does not support all of this I believe as it has always been this way for me and that is what I read.
This is awesome and thank you for sharing

we have to investigate the issue, thanks for reporting it.
What is the base you are using?
Not sure anymore if it was already discussed.

It's been noted for a while - Your testers have acknowledged that they can reproduce since at least Fanalab 1.62.3 -FanaLab 1.62.3 Download - Post your Feedback here — Fanatec Forum

Dear Fanatec Team,

Pays to look here first. I had same problem - just crashed out, mid launch. Adding XML folder fixed it instantly 👍️
Can you make a screenshot of your FanaLab ITM settings which sows your favorite page and triggers for a page change in case you use that. Alternatively you can also share the setup.

Thank you, we've reproduced the issue and a fix will probably be done for the next version
Is there a solution for my "problem" (or whatever you want to call it)?
Connected via USB the image of the pedals is displayed correctly and via RJ12 it is greyed out.

you are saying that iRacing does not provide telemetry of your current race position?
