Podium Racing Wheel - Small, Bottom White LED
It has come to my attention that at the bottom of each formula racing wheel there is a round white LED in the center between the lower three buttons.
I noticed this when doing an LED test on the driver software installer. When you cycle the LED test you will notice the light turns on, but only when doing the test.
I have searched on biblical levels to understand what this light is for and why it is not a recognized light in the Fanalab software. To my knowledge I don't think many people even know this light exists.
May you please inform me as to why this light is on the wheels and what purpose it serves.
I would be interested in using this light as an indicator (e.g. DRS, Energy Harvesting, Ignition, Lights/Rain Light)
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!

That light indicates Xbox mode. So it's only lighting in the Driver LED test to see if it's working and otherwise you will only see it lighting when you use the wheel on Xbox (on supported variants). So on your blue F1 wheel it's useless and will never be able to light other than in rhe Driver LED test.
Thank you for the clarity.
Is this "uselessness" concrete?
Is there any ability to utilize this light in any other capacity, specifically on PC, in future updates?
Additionally, why doesn't the light work reciprocally on PS?
Cheers
Yes, this "uselessness" is concrete.
There is no way to use that LED.
It's exclusively to Signal Xbox Mode on the Xbox Formula Wheels.
Thank you, sir!
