Please uninstall driver 444 and try the last used driver again which did not showed the issue and then update again to 444 to really be 100% sure it's caused by the Driver.
Thanks for the advice Maurice. I tried the optional QR screw but it won't tighten at all. It seems as though it's not long enough to enter the shaft. The screw isn't stripped as well. I wonder if the rubber sleeve around the shaft is somehow the culprit. Is this a common issue and can it be fixed? I contacted support and patiently await their response. Fingers crossed lol. Thanks again.
hello(1) I have a DD2 podium and I play on dirt 2.0 I installed the Driver 444 and since this installation when I take a break in a turn in the game the steering wheel continues to turn ... (2) at startup from the podiumDD2 the steering wheel is slightly crooked it does not come to the midpoint (0) .....(3) when I play Dirt 2.0 I have steering wheel jumps on all 439/442/443/444 drivers
444 also does not have it for me and other internal testers and there were zero changes in the Firmware between 443 and 444 so if 444 has it then 443 also must have it as it's the exact same Firmware.
Hi, everyone; I have a DD1 and play on Xbox Series X. I have Driver 443 downloaded onto my PC and all firmware updated on base, pedals, and wheel. Do you all know if it's advisable for me to download driver 444? Thank you in advance for responding
Thats m,ost likely because you (somehow) managed to first update the Base FW. After you flashed the Base to the new FW you can no longer flash the Motor.
The Motor needs to be flashed FIRST before the Base!
So best in your case now is to use the new Downgrade feature of the Driver and downgrade both Motor and Base to the 2nd option (Motor FW 38, Base FW 670) and then update again from there on with the automatic update process which has to start with the Motor FW first.
Ok, this is done via the manual Update process. Got it. But where can I get the Motor (38) and Base (670) only drivers. Don´t they all come in a package? Sorry if the question seems stupid.
Everything must be done via the automatic update!!!
The Motor 38 and Base 670 are included in Driver 444. Just open the Firmware Manager, click the Downgrade button and select this range. THe Updater will downgrade everything in the correct order then on its own. Do not interfere it with any manual hex file loading.
Maybe because not everything was properly updated and the Manager doesn allow this new feature for you in this case.
Then you need to downgrade to a Driver which contains Motor FW 40 and downgrade the Base Firmware manually to that included Firmware to be on par again with a matching Firmware combination.
Only then try Driver 444 again - this time in the correct update order.
How to manually downgrade a firmware is explained in detail in the included instructions PDF file included with a Driver.
The last driver which used Motor Firmware 40 is Driver 415.
So uninstall Driver 444, install Driver 415, open the Firmware Manager, click manual Base Firmware Update and then just click Flash Firmware. No need to select anything manually.
After that is done you have a matching Base and Motor Firmware combo again (Base 686 with Motor 40) to try Driver 444 again in the correct update order (Which would be first update motor from v40 to v3.0.0.2 and then the base from v686 to v3.0.0.6).
Hello, I have a Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 base, but I can't update Firmware V691 and Firmware V22. I tried with Driver 439 from Fanatec's website and Driver 444(Forun). Both Drivers inform that the Firmwares need to be updated, but when I click on update, the system is as if it was thinking and when I click again the phrase "Not Responding" appears. Any solution to the problem? Grateful
please, could you give me advice about this? My CSL DD with McL V2 wheel was running properly on 434 driver, when I've tried to update 439 driver I'm getting this error. I've tried to update 444 driver now with same result. What I've recognized, issue is happening after update of wheel base firmware update. Interesting is, when the wheel base firmware is updated, I see immediately "USB Disconnected" on the wheel. Even if I've got this error after wheel base firmware update and automatic update is continuing to steering wheel update, steering wheel is updated successfully.
I will be really happy to install newer drivers and firmware than 434
Just update CSP V3 to v1.35 , found that brake input will go up slower than before , whatever through WB or direct USB for testing , it's the same , now i back to v1.30 , everything back to normal

Strange, now my DD1 database is read everywhere as Club Sport V2.5...
That's because you are most likely in the Compatibility Mode. Just switch back to PC mode and magically it will be a DD1 again.
Just to let you know:
after I've installed 444 drivers, all fans (motherbard, CPU, AIO) of my PC went 100 %.
I've discovered that for a some reasons, the new Fanatec drivers had forced the motherboard fan profile to maximum speed settings.
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B660-F Gaming WiFi with last drivers and firmware.
Windows 11 64 bit.
That's kinda impossible...
Please uninstall driver 444 and try the last used driver again which did not showed the issue and then update again to 444 to really be 100% sure it's caused by the Driver.

Please post in English according to the forum rules.
I've done what you suggested whithout any issue.
I suppose that it was only a strange coincidence, the only thing I've done was installing 444 drivers and rebooting.

1 is reported and under further investigation for another approach on this issue in an upcoming release.
2 is normal.
3 is known and a potential Fix is targeted for the next Firmware Release.
concerning (1) the driver 442 and 443 does not have this concern
444 also does not have it for me and other internal testers and there were zero changes in the Firmware between 443 and 444 so if 444 has it then 443 also must have it as it's the exact same Firmware.
I will test again

I have a DD2 with a Podium R300 wheel and wanted to say this driver works really well with Dirt Rally and Wreckfest. Thanks for all the hard work.
You don't need to as the Firmwares didnt changed so nothing to benefit.
Thank you.
install the 444 driver again and everything works fine
My DD2 crashes when updating the motor Firmeware.
Thank you for your support.

NO!
Nothing must be done in the manual update!
Everything must be done via the automatic update!!!

OK! OK! I got your message!
I am sorry, but I do NOT see a downgrade button in the Firmeware Manager
Thank you again
Its above the Changelog.
However its in a weird color, should be grey.

Sounds like a great idea, but >>
Manual downgrade: how? is there any manual for that?
"to be on par again with a matching Firmware combination" : how on earth would I be able to decide which firmeware that could be?
Is this the right place for my problem or are you just trying to be nice and help me out?

The last driver which used Motor Firmware 40 is Driver 415.

What I've tried:
Wheel base firmware: 1.1.7.6
Wheel base motor firmware: 1.0.2.2
Mcl V2: 45
QR FW: 6.0.0.2
Just update CSP V3 to v1.35 , found that brake input will go up slower than before , whatever through WB or direct USB for testing , it's the same , now i back to v1.30 , everything back to normal
