We have updated the TrayApp to now also support F1 22. Would be great if you could give it a try and let me know if it works correctly. We will also do some testing on our side and then make the improvements public with one of the next driver versions.
Is the Tuning Menu maybe in Auto Setup? Then settings can't be changed as they are fixed to the default until overwritten by a game sending settings. If you want to adjust the settings you need to switch to Custom Setups
No I don't think that is fixed with the changes of this version. But we are planning to merge the ITM of the app and FanaLab which should fix the UDP issue.
Do you have the chance to try via WiFi only to compare the functionality so we know if its a general issue for you or if its caused by sharing 5G through hotspot to PC at the same time?
Ah shoot, sorry, I must have skimmed the posts too fast. Any instructions for getting it working? The ITM demo works so I know I am connecting. I have the game set to broadcast, so im not sure why Im not getting any data.
I am new to this element of the game, but I am apparently doing something wrong then. I have the latest drivers, fanalab, and apps. The UDP in game matches what is in fanalab. I must not be using the correct IP address. Should it be the IP for my phone?
How to set it up is explained in this video starting at 2:53.
Note that you need the new Tray App provided here by Marcel in the first post of this page 3 (dated 30th August) and not the one which is included in Driver 447.
I noticed that the Tuning menu in the app does not match the tuning menu on Fanalab, i.e. App will be showing tuning menu 2 of 5 but Fanalab is showing 1 of 5.
Maximum steering angle does not seem to match or work properly on the App. Fanalab shows 1080 and App shows 2370.
Is there a particular reason why your iRacing profiles now are set to 1080 rather than Auto?
It would be fantastic if you could utilize a clipping meter of some sort displaying while running a SIM because as stated it is difficult to read the small diagnostic screen on the DD1/ 2 while driving
This sounds like one is showing Auto setup in a list, resulting in a total of 6 possible setups and the other one is not showing the Auto Setup which will result in 5 possible setups. Because Auto Setup is at the beginning of the list it takes the place of S_1 creating a miss-match of settings if the other software is not having Auto Setup. But if everything is up to date, it should not be an issue.
The Fanatec Tray App prevents my PC from going to sleep. If I leave the tray app running then my PC will just stay on all night long.
I can not find a way to uninstall the tray app? In add/remove programs there's only the full fanatec driver that I could uninstall, and nowhere can i find a place to disable the tray app alone. If I right click on the tray app and Quit then my machine is fine. Any guidance on getting rid of the tray app?

Overwrite the files in:

Don't have time to try right now but is this solving the same issue with Dirt Rally 2.0? I.e. the app binding to the same udp port as Fanalab does?
It works! Thanks!
Sorry for the delay, it was iracing
With the test option it worked fine
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
Can you test if this new version also has the issue? There were some improvements made and maybe that solved your issue as well.

Is it with a specific car in iRacing? Having tried a few I couldn't reproduce the issue so far.
OK, will wait for that then when playing DR2.0. ACC worked nicely.
It worked fine with this version, but i tried back the 0.41 and also worked fine, so should by just a single time fail
btw it was with the Huracan GT3
thanks
Hello
The Tuning Menu was not in Auto Setup mode. I attached a pic of the app. I update to the 447 driver and still no luck.
Mhm, you are connected via 5G.
For the app to work you need to be in the same network as the PC, so in WLAN. Maybe that's the reason why it's not working for you..
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I shared 5G hotspot to my PC and the app was connected to the PC successfully. The ITM was working properly.
Do you have the chance to try via WiFi only to compare the functionality so we know if its a general issue for you or if its caused by sharing 5G through hotspot to PC at the same time?
when are we gonna get forza support for fanalabs or this app
I think with their next Forza game we will for sure try to implement available telemetry functions.
uh, understood, thank you.
I hope you have seen this message below, if you follow the instructions then F1 22 will work.
Is this compatible with F1 22, or am I doing something wrong? I cannot get the ITM to work in that game. thanks!
See one answer above ;)
Yes with the latest TrayApp it's compatible with F1 22.

You get no data BECAUSE you have set it to broadcast.
Broadcast is a no-go for Fanatec communciation, needs to bet to OFF.

This is great. I think this is a very valuable feature.

But I am loving this App so far!

Which versions of FanaLab and the driver do you use?
Have you tried the TrayApp of this post to see if the issue also happens with this one? https://admin.forum.fanatec.com/discussion/comment/89266/#Comment_89266
Which base do you use?
Can you add screenshots of both?

You can uninstall the driver and re-install it without using the tray app or you can delete the "app" folder.
C:\Program Files\Fanatec\Fanatec Wheel\app
We will have a look into what might be causing this issue.
