That field works the exact other way. In that field in Fanalab you need to enter the Name of your controller profile which you use in the game. If you named your controller Profile "ABCDEFG" then you need to write that "ABCDEFG" into that field. You can find the Name of your controller profile when you follow the steps which the manual is showing to you in that message.
Does anyone have a fanalab profile for the ARCA, B (Xfinity) and C (Trucks)? (I have a DD2) I was recently blown away by Maurice's settings for the Mazda and skippy (it's like an entirely new wheel.
I feel like the main recommended settings for the nascar is just not great. I am not knowledgeable enough in the FFB settings and what the cars should feel like.
Thanks for the feedback, I want to improve the device section since quite some time by showing everything in one list instead of two and removing the not needed grey pedal. I hope we can get it in one of the next versions.
I've read somewhere that Generations will be the first WRC title to finally offer telemetry data to third party software like FanaLab. I've asked the developers for more information and a documentation, then we can try to add it in one of the future FanaLab versions.
Can you check the firmware version of your Button Module Endurance? In the past there was a firmware where the LEDs were brighter and we did reduce the brightness later, would like to find out if you might have that brighter firmware which would make it worth updating.
Is there a proper way to scale down the FFB on some of these profiles? For example I like the F3 profile but it is a bit on the stronger side for me than I would like.
...arent the numbers specifically selected for each profile? 18/66 in iracing. wont lowering the ffb value on the tuning menu fuck with the balance or it doesnt matter? There must be a reason you chose 70%, or is that just a random number you selected for this profile?
Some months ago I revised FFB settings drastically so that every profile maxes out at FFB 60 (=15Nm on a DD2). I do not use any profile with FFB 70 and in game setting 18Nm anymore.
Maybe that also explains why you feel it's too strong. Most likely I felt the same some months ago and reduced it already ;) so just make sure to use my latest profiles and it should already feel better.
I am still very new to all this guys. But I learn quick with proper help. Which is the exact fanalab I need to download and what profiles? What exactly can I do with fanalab and the profiles.? I own the GT DD PRO 8Nm with McLaren Wheel and 2 CSL Pedals. I play on both PS5 and Xbox Series X. I have a PC that is more than capable to play on and AC and ACC already installed for when I move over to pc. I will be getting others soon. I hate being the new noob. But like I said. I learn pretty quick. Thank in advance!
*edit ok I think I see the profiles link from Nov. 4th post. Which is the correct Fanalab?
The correct FanaLab is 1.66 when you use driver 447.
However, my profiles are for P DD2 and with some math adaptable to P DD1 as well but they are not for CSL DD and Belt Bases, at least the Tuning Menu settings are not, you could still use the LED settings though.
However, when you currently play on PS5 and Xbox FanaLab will bring you exactly no nebefit because its a PC exclsuive software and everything you change in FanaLab will only be ssaved in the FanaLab settings itself, not to the base, so the changes can not be transferred to a console.
Thank you. I am glad I asked. Because I was told in a Facebook group to get it. Then I read that it was mainly for dd2 and dd1. Then I thought maybe I missed something or misread something. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
Soon. Either with the next version or the version after that. But the new version can only be releases together with a new driver and new Firmware and these are not fully ready yet.

Hy Maurice,
thats it. Thanks a lot.

How can i remove the pedals that are not found, like pedals connected to the base when connected to PC directly?
You cant.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks y'all.
Hey. Will WRC generations get native support in fanalab in the next update sense it will have full telemetry?
Not in the next version, no.
Maybe at a later date.

Very nice thank you.
I don´t see an update.
i´m assuming that the "21" is the latest version?
Thanks
Jacky
Yes that's the latest version.

Just use a lower FFB value on the Tuning Menu then...

You seem to be using old profiles from me.

im using 1.66 profile.
You are using an OLD 1.66 profile, not the most recent.
Most recent is this:
Here are the really latest profiles with a BIG FFB update from 1.5 months ago:

I clicked your link on the front page and thats what it gave me, sorry maybe I missed it, where is the link to the latest profile?
Yeah thats VERY old ;)
I posted a link to the most recent ones above.
Unfortunately this Forum is very bad and you cant edit a post after 1 hour, otherwise I would always just edit the first reply with the latest pack.
But because the forum is how it is, users need to scan through all sites to see if a newer pack is available or not...
Got it thank you! you do good work friend.
Hope that new profile suits you better regarding the FFB strength :)
feels a good amount of strength now. ty!

WRC GENERATIONS ??
Hi, given that Fanatec is a licensed partner for this game, when can we expect fanalab updates to support it?
Dbox is also a licensed partner and their software was ready on launch day. Simhub has already been updated.
thanks!

Thanks. Is there an ETA?
