CSL V3 Pedals make weird noise with FFB

I have had the CSL pedals for a while and I love them, but I've noticed that the accelerator's force feedback is making what I can only describe as an awful clicking noise when it activates. It may also not have as strong of force feedback than it did when I originally purchased it, but I am unsure of this. Is this normal or is there a problem with my pedals, and if there is a problem would I be better off sending it in for warranty work or just dealing with it/fixing it myself?

tighten the spring end of the vibration motor clamp
I don't see a spring on the back, but I did find the cause of the problem when I looked: on my brake pedal, it appears that the weights for the FFB impacted the cylinder and caused something to bend so that the weights now are rubbing the bracket that holds the motor in place. I tried to loosen and retighten the bracket but it did not fix the issue. My other options are either attempting to bend the bracket or weights or to sand down the end of the bracket.
tighten the spring end of the clamp = bend the bracket :-)
How exactly do I tighten it? The only bolt I see is the one holding the bracket/clamp on the pedal. I don't see any fasteners on the bottom of the clamp or motor. Do I remove the motor and then bend the clamp?
Yes
