I have a CSL DD on Xbox and can't find any settings to use for F1 23. Can anyone please advise on what settings to use as everything I try is awful to drive?
I've also heard that people are looking FFB during the game too, so maybe a patch coming to fix.

I don't own the game (played the 5-hour demo via EA Play/ Game Pass), and used the following settings which I thought felt pretty good. (I have a CSL DD 8Nm and played the demo on PC)
Wheel:
SEN 360
FF 100
FFS PEAK
NDP OFF
NFR OFF
NIN OFF
INT 01
FEI 100
FOR 100
SPR 100
DPR 100
In-Game settings, I don't remember exactly since my demo has expired and I can no longer launch to check, but as I recall, I set the overall strength to about 60 or 65, and all the sliders for things like on and off-track, curbs, etc. to 40. May not be perfect...I'm sure I'd probably find something to tweak if I played some more, but as I said, this felt pretty good to me, at least as a starting point.
I've heard the same about people losing FFB. It's not just with Fanatec products either, Logitech and possibly others seem to be affected as well. Personally, I had no issues whatsoever in the time I played, so hopefully they're pretty isolated incidents.
I loose FFB everytime I Alt+Tab out of the game. Need to Pause the game again, only then FFB comes back.

Oh, ok. Good to know. I never Alt+Tabbed during the demo. Hopefully a patch will be coming soon then. (Along with a patch to fix the #@&! dark rearview mirror!)
I should probably add that I'm still using driver 439, not sure how much of a difference that makes, but there it is. 🤷♂️
My csl dd 8nm is a new replacement and only a month old. Ive tried the following and have zero ffb, and also the wheel rotation is screwed.

Do NOT use SEN AUTO - its still bugged because Codemasters still did not updated to the newest Fanatec SDK which was sent to them in September last year!
Use 360 for F1 and F2 cars and 900 for Supercars!
Here is the video from Limitless, a very good and trusty driver.
He shows all his settings inside F1 23 and on Fanatec app.
In the video description you can find also ask the settings with there!
He uses an ancient old driver with the complete stock default settings (which do not feel good in F1).
He did not customized ANY setting, its all default and default settings may be a good starting point but are never good (waaaaaaaaaaay too much NDP, waaaay too much INT, just two examples).
So no, these settings are not good at all.
Thanks guys. I have tried Limitless and TRY racing. I am going to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

same thing happens to me.
I had no FFB whatsoever too untill I uninstalled and then reinstalled the 451 driver... so try to uninstall and reinstall the driver, if you like...
