Podium dd2
hello everyone, I have a dd2 podium, how do I absorb the curbs? which setting should I change to have a wheel with a low angle of rotation but with ample steering? I play on acc and if I climb over the curbs I am catapulted away from the position

Lower FFB strength or lower slew rate. A slew rate filter isn't available though, while there is one in many other DD's. You could also apply NDP/NFR/NIN but that is felt all the time, not only over curbs. Lower FEI will make them feel less harsh but you'll still catapult.
players who do 1 hour races how do they constantly climb high curbs as if nothing happened
They use a specific car setup. There are sites that sell setups that do the trick. It's very similar to cheating, because it has nothing to do with a realistic race car setup, but it works in the game.
the setup they recommended is fine, should I make the changes you're recommending to improve the screen above?
I mean the car setup. They use strange setups, like TOE negative at the rear, Caster at maximum value, soft fast dampers and hard slow dampers, a lot of rake and downforce.
It's about starting from the aggressive setup of ACC and changing one value at a time and going around the track. It takes a lot of time, a lot of dedication and studying how the physics of the game works. Are other drivers likely to be able to jump curbs because they've been training to do it for years?
Any steering wheel setup won't make you go faster, maybe slower, but not faster.
To answer your question however no, your setup above is terrible.
Use the settings recommended by Fanatec and starting from those, lower the FEI if you want it less rough. Turn down FFB if it's too loud, but don't turn down GAIN (60 is recommended).
Ok i will thank you
