I guess he is referring to information on the 'Your Orders' page. Seems like there is no data transfer between the shop and the logistics. Quite a mess.
Apparently qr base quoted put in my mailbox today.
I never got a tracking number, I was lucky it arrived in my letterbox.
That said, the QR2 on the wheel side of the M4 did not arrive. I don't know why it wasn't sent as soon as the QR2 was put online, as it had already been paid for 2 years ago...
I'm in Australia and my ordercwas completely shipped according to fanatec three and a half days ago but no tracking from Australia Post. No way I can contact fanatec to find out what is going on either.
i hope it's not true because, there no way they will transport here without contact info because they usually call people at our country before delivery
I have been in Fanatec gear for maybe 4 years and in that time apart from their guys that are on this forum the communication is non existent, despite all the frustration and venting that continually goes on here it has never been addressed. I can only assume that management don't see communication as being a priority with their customer base and that it is just an extra expense that erodes their bottom line.
I ordered a QR2 Pro bundle on September 26 and my order is 'still in process'. Haven't received anything, no response to my mail, no reaction on Facebook, support live chat is offline and so on...
Honestly, I'm really mad. It's okay if there are delivery problems. But simply not communicating with customers (in any form) is not acceptable. Some friends who ordered much later than me have already received their QR2s. It's all way too chaotic.
US here. Ordered the morning of the 25th when first went live, kept refreshing during heavy traffic but got it placed. Funds drawn from bank successfully.
Received no email receipt or invoice listed on site, but order number is shown under my account with the multiple QR2’s placed and “not yet processed” status. Immediately concerned given every prior order I’ve made over the years had an email receipt delivered immediately. Since the order is on my account history I decided to send a ticket asking if it went through properly to be certain.
Almost two weeks later, the order status has not budged and is still not processed and I’ve gotten zero response. I sent a ticket through a different means after discovering a different form for orders placed without proper invoicing from a post made on this forum. Nothing after many days…
QR2’s are back ordered now and I just cancelled the order waiting for the refund. Will contact bank to investigate next week if the refund isn’t sent by then.
I assume my case is due to the site being hit with too many orders that morning and unfortunately I was charged and a glitch may have caused the invoicing to fail and Fanatec may not be aware to even ship in their registry. Just a guess, but the lack of communication and giving a week and a half has soured me hard on the company and supporting them going forward.
As a reminder, here is the e-mail sent by fanatec to owners of the M4 wheel on 26 September:
"Dear Podium Steering Wheel BMW M4 GT3 owner,
We're excited to inform you our next generation quick release has launched!
This means you will be receiving your free QR2 Pro Wheel-Side soon. Please note that your Wheel Base will also need to be fitted with a QR2 Base-Side. There are two QR2 Base-Side variants: the Type-C for CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Bases, and the Type-M for Podium Wheel Bases. You can learn more on our product pages.
Due to the high volume of orders that need to be processed and shipped, we expect you to receive updates on the status of your shipment by next week at the latest. Please keep an eye on your inbox for tracking updates from our local shipping partner.
You may have heard of shipping delays resulting from a transition to a new EU warehouse. We are prioritizing your QR2 Pro Wheel-Side shipment, so that you will not be affected by the situation.
We can't wait to hear what you think of our new quick release!
Thanks, and you'll be hearing from us soon!"
I've noticed here and there that people have already received their order and their QR2 pro. But I can't find any testimonials from M4 wheel owners who have received, or been informed of, their parcel being dispatched.
"We are prioritizing your QR2 Pro Wheel-Side shipment, so that you will not be affected by the situation."
I didn't even get this email, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not seeing us get anything as far as communications on this, this week and I'm not sure if we'll be seeing the QR2 Pro any time soon if ever. So may signs that 25 years is about it for Fanatec. This all seems really bad, as if it's now ALL about getting cash and not about any service.
That's great news, hoping we see more and more customers getting their orders fulfilled. I am correct that this was not from being a BMW M4 GT3 Wheel owner?
I hope so, here is the rub on this. The QR2 wheel side for us M4 owners were paid for a year or more ago, to not have this fulfilled before new orders is a sure sign that Fanatec has a cash flow issue, then need the cash on new orders to pay their creditors, sponsorships, etc. It's VERY worrisome as this type of stuff usually precedes bankruptcy. I'm SO hoping I'm wrong, but my instincts tell me I'm not. If I'm wrong, why are then not communicating anything? If it quacks like a duck, it's usually a duck.
Another assumption is that the packaging of the QR2 pro for M4 wheel owners will be different from the other versions because it will include the wheel update cable (the current one will no longer work with the QR2).
Last week, I finally received the UPS dispatch number AFTER I had received my parcel (maybe 2 days later).
I reordered another QR2 on Tuesday 3rd. I know that there are 5 days of unpacking with shipping delays, so I really expect my package to be processed today or tomorrow.
That said, the QR2 pro was sold out at the end of last week.
Can a product mentioned as being "in stock" at the time of ordering finally be sold out with the processing delays?

Ordered 25, no info or email but all stuff just arrived ... something must be happening on their software !

Dear Fanatec Team,
It has now been 10 days since I placed order 1749984 with you. At that
time, the ordered products were in stock and available for delivery. However, I
have not received a tracking number from you, and the ordered goods have not
arrived at my address.
On October 2, 2023, I reached out to your support, but I have not received
a response thus far. Instead, I received a meaningless standard email that did
not address the content of my inquiry. I have seen in your forums that some
individuals who ordered after me have already received their QR2 products, but
I have not.
I am extremely frustrated with how Fanatec repeatedly disappoints its
customers, especially considering that you are aware that many of us have
invested thousands of euros in your products.
I now expect a concrete response from you, and by that, I mean not just
automated and meaningless responses, but information on the status of my order
and when I can expect to receive it.
Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

Btw, I'm based in Germany.

I don't think so.

Thanks Allan!

The new cable or the packaging may not be ready.
It's all assumptions if no communication. We are free to assume the best, worst in anything in between :D
On the new cable, I thought I understood it would not be needed now, but I don't know this either, just an assumption.
i received after 11 days form my Order finally a tracking nr. Fanatec still don't communicate with costumer. Very bad!
For the wheel-side QR2 pro included with the M4 wheel?
They said we'd have news by the end of the week.
It's the end of this week :D
get my package, without issues expect than this time the UPS My Choice not show me incoming packages

I'm answering myself.
The site is not necessarily updated with UPS information.
That said, you can still get some shipping information by going to :
https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_US&requester=WT/
Select the link: Track by Reference Number
Fill in Shipment Reference with your order number, the order date and today in the 2 date fields, the destination country and the postcode.
If packing slips have been created, they will appear with an unknown delivery date.
If the carrier has already collected your parcel, you will also be given the delivery date.
This allows people who don't have a tracking number to know a little more about their likely delivery date.
Thanks to this I have been able to know that I should expect it to arrive by next monday.
