DD1 has a mind of its own
Tried to use PC2 and iRacing after installing driver 352 and fanalab. Now when I try to use it, the DD1 goes mad when you try and go into a session in either game. Nearly took my hand off. On its own it turns through a turn and half, judders, all sorts.
No idea what I have done, but it hurt!
Any suggestions on how to diagnose please. All help accepted.

I never had any issues with my DD1 in either games that you mentioned, also v352 is way old of a driver for you to be using, please uninstall v352 and install the latest driver v380. Don't forget to update the all the firmware and calibrate the motor in the wheel property page.

Did you by chance change settings of the wheel?
