Differences Clubsport Formula V2 vs Clubsport Formula V2.5

Hi,

I´m quite new to sim racing and hardware. RIght now I´d like to know the differences (apart from xbox compatibility) between the Clubsport Formula V2 and V2,5(x). The For me they seem to be the same. Was one version for US and the other for european market? I have seen a discussion online and they came to the conclusion that only the magnetic shifters were pre-installed in the V2.5. But I didn´t understand if the focus was on the point of pre-installed or magnetic shifters.

So would be great if someone could tell me if there are any differences between these two versions.

It's all about the ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module being pre-installed on the v2.5(x).

No other difference.

Great, thanks for your quick reply. So I can buy a V2 without having any disadvantages. ;-)

Well, the V2 does have spring shifters which feel significantly worse, so thag actually is a quite big disadvantage...

Ah Okay, so the difference is in the shifter. The v2 has no magnetic shifter and the v2.5 has them. That helps. So I will try to cancel the V2.

Hi Andreas, my advice for you is to buy the V2 and the APM, which are imho way better shifter than the ones on the V2.5(x).

The APM Shifter is the exact same as the one on the MPM. The APM just has the extra upper two paddles and the analogue clutch paddles - but the shifter itself is the exact same.

Seems to be more like rocket sciences. ;-)

I´m really new to sim racing and just want to start. But I tried to avoid to pay the same price for different wheels. Because of your held I could avoid that.

Now I try to find a V2,5 or a 2 with modded shifter.
