CSL DD Losing Force Feedback

So I just got my new Fanatec CSL DD for my birthday and as I played with it on F1 23, I noticed that it would lose force feedback every time I went into a new race. The force feedback can be restored by turning the base off, or testing the force feedback on the control panel. Then when you go into a new race it goes away again. Has this happened to anyone before? If so please help me because I just want to have fun without this issue.

try in some other game
It works fine in AC and Dirt 2.0. But I normally play F1 23 and want it to work.
