Switching from sequential to H pattern

New to Fanatec gear, I have the CSL DD, Universal hub V2 for Xbox, Shifter, handbrake, and the Clubsport V3 pedals. So far everything has been great. I have been mostly using the flappy paddles on the wheel or the shifter in sequential. However, I wanted to give H pattern shifting a try with the clutch pedal. But when I switched the shifter in to H pattern, I lost button functionality on the hub 🤨. All this stuff is new so I have the latest firmware, just wondering if I'm missing something or need to reconfigure something when switching. Thanks
