I'm having the same problem. Fanalabs loads, but then it crashes and vanishes before one is able to interact with it. It started happening out of nowhere. It would load to tray, but the minute I pointed at it in the tray, the icon would vanish. Relaunching it would do the same... to the tray then crash/vanish.
I just did a clean Win10 install, tried several versions of the beta drivers for Podium wheel basese (can't find 339, so running driver 347, WB FW 664, and SW FW 28). Still same behaviour.
As of now FanaLab needs to be installed in it's default path (C:\Program Files (x86)\Fanatec\FanaLab\Control).
2 questions:
Any plans to let the user choose the installation location in the future?
If yes, can you please store the location in the registry?
Should look like this:
Reason I ask: I need to close (no problem with process.Kill()) and restart then again (problem with not knowing the installation location) in an application.
I have an issue where a certain car in iRacing (Dallara F3) crashes Fanalab. If anyone on iRacing can test and confirm this please I'd appreciate it (enter the Formula Sprint series, currently at Lime Rock). I've driven other cars with the same profile and it works perfectly for those, but EVERY TIME I drive with this car Fanalab crashes.
Using a CSW v2.5 with the Formula v2 rim (actually the LE 2018 version) and the v3 inverted pedals (connected separately via USB). Using Driver version 345 and I'm on Windows 10.
I've got exactly the same issue. I've tried to repair the application, uninstall and install again, remove config file but all this gave no changes - still can't launch.
Not sure why you state 347 doens't work with DD bases, but I gave 346 a try. Still same result: Fanalab Launches and vanishes to silent crash with 346, WB FW 662, and SW FW: 28

Any idea when we will get a new version of fanalab?

Here's a screenshot of the settings:
Same here since today. FanaLab doesn't launch anymore.

Beta driver v347 doesn't work for DD wheelbases. Try v346 and see if that helps with your issue. You should use v346 either way.

I'll forward it
Thx a lot Marcel
