Newbie to the ecosystem, driver and firmwares.
I have now the following:
https://fanatec.com/us-en/steering-wheels/clubsport-steering-wheel-formula-v2#downloads
https://fanatec.com/us-en/pedals/clubsport-pedals-v3#downloads
https://fanatec.com/us-en/racing-wheels-wheel-bases/wheel-bases/clubsport-wheel-base-v2.5#downloads
Windows 10 64bit OS.
I am confused as to how to get the drivers and firmwares installed in the right order. So I read thru https://fanatec.com/media/pdf/a6/ee/64/Driver-Firmware-Instructions-Manual-EN_Web_02_MO.pdf which only made it more frustrating.
In the manual, it shows a fanatec driver version higher than any I can find for download.
Note the PC driver is really old compared to the manual: Build 336 vs the higher 352 listed here in the manual.
I am also missing the tuning menu from my properties page.
Wondering....
1) what is the correct order of installation,
2) what is the correct version of driver I should be using (since there are four possibilities per the webpages v311 v328 v334 v336beta)
3) How do I find this hidden tab in the Fanatec Wheel Properties pages

As you have the Formula V2 you need atleast driver 336 anyway. So you are good to go from the beginning. Imo the most stable driver for your wheelbase is beta v347, which can be found here: https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/1058/fanatec-beta-driver-v347-for-csl-csw-all-wheels#latest
You might also consider updating to the latest beta driver v365 as this comes with a great increase in FFB Resolution:https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/1777/fanatec-beta-driver-v361-now-v365-for-csl-csw-and-podium-bases-all-wheels#latest
Once you've updated the driver and restart your computer while leaving on the wheelbase you can then update the firmware in the exact order your devices are shown.
The hidden tab comes with the later drivers.
I will give that a shot. Dunno if I could've found that information out myself. Would be nice if they put that on the product page.
I updated the drivers and then it wanted to update the firmware on my 2.5. After updating the firmware, the base is not recognize my Windows anymore. Tried unplugging and plugging back in. Tried power down and restart of the base. Tried rebooting the PC. Nothing seems to allow the base to be seen by the PC anymore. Any ideas?
You need to change back to PC mode. If the power button lights up green after the update then you're in XBOX mode.
How to change mode is documented in the quick guide of your steering wheel.
Aha! Not sure how to switch PC vs XBOX modes, but removed the wheel from the base and then the base was recognized! Woot.
It is because of your wheel rim, the Fv2 is xbox compatible, so it turned your wheelbase into xbox mode after the firmware update.
You need to press these to buttons...
