CSL DD low strengh, very soft
Hi! Yesterday my CSL DD 5nm loses part of the torque. I didnt happens while playing, I just start the computer and the base, and I feel it softer than other times.
I tried to reinstall drivers, change USB port and more things. Driver is up to date.
The wheel base works properly , just low torque.
At this moment I send a ticket to Fanatec. Anyone knows what is happening? Should I try to check PSU volts?
My wheel was ordered on October an received on December 24.
Thank you.

Sounds to me very normal behaviour. When no game is running no torque info is send to the base.
My DD1 never has a lot of torque when I start my PC and turn on the DD1. Only when in Game the torque is there when needed. If that is the case when running games torque is there like it should, there is nothing wrong with your base.
Its on games too, and in the forcefeedback test. Obviusly when not playing, the base is soft. I mean playing and testing FFB, I feel it softer than before.
That wasn;t clear from your TS because you stated it didn't happen while playing.
Then I don't know, check some older topics, I think more people have this issue and maybe the older topics have some more info.
Sorry for my english, I mean; Its happens playing too, weak response from the base in fanatec control panel and games too. Before it was a good strengh but since yesterday... Just wait to fanatec reponse my ticket
He meant it didn't initially go soft while actually gaming, some people have reported that while driving the FFB suddenly goes soft.
