Wheelbase intermittently disconnecting from PS5 in Gran Turismo 7

Happening a lot and sometimes in the middle of a race or at the end of long one. Very frustrating. Disconnect the usb, plug it back in, recognized by the PS5 and we're off and running like it never happened. Any help, ideas, is very much appreciated. Thanks
